WATCHA THINK??? Not sure what you have for depth, but I really do like everything except for your WR's. That could be a REAL problem.

Get a WR or two on your bench or off the WW, and I think you will have a nice squad.

From NY 7, pick 8.....

QB- Ben Roethlisberger
Steve McNair

RB- Frank Gore
Ahman Green
Fred Taylor
Marcel Shipp
Michael Robinson
Maurice Hicks

WR- Larry Fitzgerald
Marques Colston
Braylon Edwards
Bobby Wade
Eddie Kennison
Dwayne Bowe

TE- Jeremy Shockey
Bo Scaife

K- Jason Hanson

D- San Diego

Of course Gore falling was a complete shocker, but I really don't think he will be THAT MUCH of an upgrade over Parker, Alexander, Westy, etc.
That being said,

I like my team, and would like it just as much with those aforementioned RB's.

My only regret is taking Eddie "old man Kennison" in round 11, thinking Dayne would slip to me in the 12th. However, I have seen NUMEROUS teams not even back up their #1 (let alone their #2), so we are all an injury away from disaster in a lot of respects.

Good luck to everyone this year!

NY 3, pick 12

QB - Romo, losman

RB- Edge James, R. Brown, Morency, K.Jones, S. Morris, Shipp

WR- S. Smith (carolina), Branch, Cotchery, Holmes, Crayton, Bowe

TE- Scaife, Miller

K- Scobie

D- Jets

It was an odd draft for me. I agree with others in that it is hard now to leave an NFFC main event draft feeling like your team is really "dominant" in that all teams will generally have holes and questions marks. I like the potential of my team. I like my WR depth with 1 stud, and 3 very solid WR's all with upside and another (crayton) who might be good if Glenns knee continues to be a problem. I had a few moments where there was NO ONE I liked projected to go when it was my turn and I was forced to reach for someone I like more based on my own opinions (edge, Holmes). I like R. Browns talent and upside (based on where I was drafting from) even with the question marks hovering over him and a rough schedule.

It is always fun to draft and I enjoyed meeting some of the regulars on this board (diesel, edelman, Billywaz....

Now I somehow have to get through the Thursday night Saints/Colts game with none of those studs on my team... At least I have Mare in the Auction league!

Good luck all...

QB: Young, Losman

RB: Gore, Jordan, Droughns, A-Train, Jerome Harrison, Kolby Smith

WR: Owens, Evans, Driver, Santonio Holmes, Copper, Craig Davis

TE: Shockey, Eric Johnson

K: Scobee

D: Bills

I am obviously hoping my wrs make up for my lack of Rb depth but I think my backup rbs will all see a good amount of playing time with the exception of Kolby who was a flier.

The team you put on the field in Week 1 will look nice (having Holmes as a flex is nice... I could have had Galloway as mine but passed for Shockey).

When Rhoades comes back, if it becomes a time share, you could have problems.

Out of curiousity, there weren't better D's than Buffalo, or do you like them this year?

Overall I like the team all we need is one of our young WR's to hit and I think our team is solid. Leonard went 1 pick in front of us and we had to take DeDe which meant of course today he gets cut! Outstanding value on Bulger don't think I saw him go anywhere near 6.2 in other NY leagues. Some things that pop out to me....

1) I don't like Javon Walker, but getting him with the 41st pick over all is GRAND LARCENY (he went to team 2 in the SECOND round in my league).

2) I think you are the only team that has THREE RB's who will be suiting up this weekend!

3) You really need a WR to step up, as relying on one of those guys as a #3 could really hurt you (not to mention you need a flex).

If Betts OR Portis go down, you will be good.

On a different note, great meeting you this weekend (and your posse), and it was fun drafting against one of the best. :D

I will tell you one thing, as people post their rosters, I am noticing one thing....

3RR DID IT'S JOB!!! :D

The people that picked near the top don't appear to be nearly as strong on paper as last year, and everyone looks pretty even.

Should be some great competition this year! :D
