No one here is claiming to be a “wise guy” and none of us aspire to such a position. On my weekly radio show (like many other shows) we highlight our best three picks for the week. I figured it would be fun to extend this to the MB.

Rationale for my picks:
(Details about the contest to be formalized this week, it will include standard lines that we all lock into on Friday’s)
NE -4.5: I love it when the popular media is way off base and the public buys into the hype. NE v. SEA will be a perfect example of this today. The soft SEA D (as proven in last week’s collapse against SEA) will be torched today. I see 28-35 points for NE. Brady will dissect them the entire day, and Hasslebeck is primed to make numerous mistakes. I like NE by at least 14 in this one.
DAL -3: Again a classic example of the media setting up a team/player up for a major fall. I follow the MAC closely and I knew a few years back that Big Ben was legit. But he’s not the 2nd coming of Dan Marino and he won’t be ample to handle what the Cowboys will throw at him today. I think the DAL running game will get back on track (I see 100+ for Eddie) and I like DAL to win this game by at least 10 points.
OAK +2.5: The Den offense is in disarray and don’t expect any repeat performances from last week. The Raiders are always tough at home and I like them as an outright winner today. Look for a nice bounce-back game for Collins.

We will in fact talk more NE SEA, as predicted Hasslebeck has already thrown a pick and NE marched right down the field.
Favre this week and most likely almost every remaining week.

Primo you can’t delete posts if your “win by 20 team” (SEA) goes down 7-0 to start the game (yes it’s the beginning of a VERY long day for them.)

If you are wondering I did in fact put the rent money on NE. Played them 1st half -1.5 as well. When they get up by 17+ today they will not fold up like SEA did last week
NFL Locks Week 6
1-10-SEA 25 (7:39) S.Alexander left end to SEA 25 for no gain (R.Harrison).
Expect to see about 10 more of these today.

Here's a shocker:
3-11-SEA 35 (5:07) M.Hasselbeck pass intended for D.Jackson INTERCEPTED by T.Law at SEA 43. T.Law ran ob at SEA 43 for no gain.

I’m really not this obnoxious in real life, but everyone I know was talking crap this week (including a number of the morons in the media) about how SEA could or WOULD win this week. They are a FRAUD, and I’m not sure why no one else could see this. So as NE pours it on today I will continue to shout: scoreboard!
NFL Locks Week 6
News flash: NE 17 SEA 0
