Deuce McAllister Out For The Year
Yep ... Do you remember Kitna being drafted out from under us? Someone drafted our backup and didn't draft Maddox or Detmer his backups to Roethlisberger and McNabb ... who went undrafted?) ... go figure ... wouldn't you draft your backup to your top three QB ... before you draft someone else's backup who ranks in the middle?Last year, I drafted Hasselbeck and Gannon without handcuffing and went week 3 without a qb as Gannon went down week 2 and Hasselbeck had the bye. This year, as you can see with my roster, I drafted Collins and Orton and their backups just for that reason. You can't help not getting Kitna and who would have predicted both NYJ qbs going down the same week. But taking Kitna over their handcuffs was not a good move on their part and they will pay dearly this week with Roethlisberger hurt and McNabb and McCown on the bye.

What about RICKY going back to the "Big Easy"?
Stranger things have happened.I have been living around New Orleans and following the Saints for 24 years, TCH, and stranger things HAVE happened. My partner who is down there now was just telling me last night after the Deuce news that he didn't think A. Smith and Stecker were the long term answer for this season unless the team was packing it in already. There are a couple of other choices in front of Ricky but it wouldn't be a bad pickup for the rest of this season and they could maybe get back in a trade what they would give up to get him.

Stranger things have happened. Miami already traded a RB to NO today.
