NFFC Classic: Best Return On Investment In The NFFC

I talked to many folks who sought my opinion as to where to play this year (not just ex-WCOFF). I equally sang the praises of the NFFC and FFPC. I was surprised that about 80% chose your competitor and one of the biggest reasons was KDS & 3RR.
I don't want to insult any of the folks that asked for my recommendations, but I got the feeling they didn't want to invest the time into learning new concepts.
Doesn't matter if you, me and NFFC die-hards like these and know they aren't hard things to grasp. They are NEW concepts to a vast majority of folks. And sometimes people just don't want to sit down and learn something new.
Just sayin'... Jules, I'll just say that RH LOVES YOU right now!!!
Your point is well taken and it's something we need to discuss. It's a balance of helping the customers get the draft spots they want and where they can win from and making it simpler to understand. I get that and I get your point completely. We'll have to figure this out and get it right, as you said.

A nice Classic odds thread and no status on Wednesday's Sep 7 contest ? Last I checked there were two teams so far right ? I'm tempted to take team #3 here. (Sep 6 tuesday is the Super so that's a no go). I think you can get the Sep 7 to fill don't you think Greg ? Screw the 7th, let's work hard to get the one on the 6th filled.
Is that at 10pm Glenn ? I have a Super at 7pm so that's possible assuming it's over by then. I'd still prefer the next day just to clear my head...

Just sayin'... Jules, I'll just say that Ryan Houston LOVES YOU right now. That's for sure.
Oh Greg, low blow! Putting my name in the same sentence with Ryan's...C'mon!
Was just trying to be helpful and thought it MIGHT be helpful to get feedback from:
1) me a paying NFFC customer who dropped over $20K in your events last year and $10K in your events this year
2) real folks who had a choice as to where to put their money.
And here I was just about to send you an e-mail asking you to sign me up for the Sept 6th on-line Classic...

Okay, Jules, I edited my above post!!!! As I stated above:
Your point is well taken and it's something we need to discuss. It's a balance of helping the customers get the draft spots they want and where they can win from and making it simpler to understand. I get that and I get your point completely. We'll have to figure this out and get it right, as you said.

I don't want it to change, was just sayin' though.

The Classic draft on September 6th just got a whole lot tougher...I told Greg to sign me up!

I, for one, hope the 14-team Classic never goes away. I think people might be gravitating toward the 12-team format for several reasons:
1) They're familiar with it if they've come here from another contest
2) Everyone likes their teams better because there are less holes
3) Due to #2 above, it's easier to recover from draft mistakes, busts, injuries, etc., which IMO somewhat increases the luck factor. Heck, it's HARD to compete against the NFFC's top players; and in a 14-team format... VERY hard, as EVERY team usually has holes.
Personally, I welcome the challenge and feel that the 14-team format separates the top players from some of the lesser-experienced, less-successful ones. IOW, when you win your 14-team league, you've probably really had to work at it (draft, waivers, lineups, etc.).
My 2 cents. YMMV.
