Who wins 1st place?
Record of Team #24 overall = 4-5
Points scored by Team #24 = 1228
Record of Team #273 overall = 4-5
Points scored by Team #273 = 857
In summary, Team #24 has scored 371 more points than Team #273 (that’s an average of 41 more points per WEEK), but they have the same dumpy record. This example is simply an abomination made possible by H2H scheduling.

. Sorry Greg, poor choice of words on my part. I like the setup the way it is. I should've used the word "interesting" in my post instead of the looney tunes reference.

SuperPION,
It's indignant if I voice my opinion about the rules, give me a break, just go away nobody wants to hear your opinion.

In summary, Team #24 has scored 371 more points than Team #273 (that’s an average of 41 more points per WEEK), but they have the same dumpy record. This example is simply an abomination made possible by H2H scheduling. You can find those examples in the NFL too. Hell, I think the Packers have more points scored than allowed, but they are 1-7. That takes into account a 52-3 win, though and seven crappy losses where they deserved each one.
If you want Rotisserie football, then we can do everything for Total Points and just total everything up at the end of the season. But most people are familiar with h2h formats in football and beating your opponent and then smack talking about it has always been a part of fantasy football. Getting rid of h2h records would seem foolish, but then what do I know. I'm just a novice in all this!!!
GG, you should applaud the fact that we now have rules in place to make sure that #24 team makes it into the playoffs (you helped with the suggestion) despite a rough h2h record and realize that Rotisserie football isn't preferred by everyone in our contest. We have baseball for that.

[/QUOTE]I didn't even see that you had used that word, Jeff. No offense taken and I wasn't implying anything. I just want people to know that using Total Points as the first tie-breaker was done with some thought in mind. You can disagree with the reasoning, but nobody should imply that I didn't consider the pros and cons of using h2h matchups as the tie-breaker vs. Total Points.
