Who's Coming To The 2006 NFFC And Where?
Jeff Dawson of Marstons Mills, Massachusetts teamed up with Michael Zukowski in the NFFC last year, but this year he's grabbing his own team at the New York Hilton. I hate divorces, but I'm not complaining about this one! Jeff and Bill Hutchinson will team up together in New York on Saturday, Sept. 2nd as New York now leads the three cities in signups for the main event. Welcome aboard Jeff and Bill and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Who's Coming To The 2006 NFFC And Where?
We're definitely headed towards two auction leagues in Chicago as we now have 19 owners in the Windy City and there are several other owners still interested. We're glad to welcome back the tag team of Chad Meyer and Parnelli Baker of Columbus, Indiana as they will be joining us at the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott on Friday, Sept. 1st. Chad and Parnelli have participated in the NFFC in the past and Parnelli is currently competing in the NFBC. Welcome back guys and best of luck in the hunt for the $4,000+ in league prizes. Now let's get this second auction league filled up!!

Who's Coming To The 2006 NFFC And Where?
The interest in the auction leagues continues again as we welcome our newest member to the growing NFFC family. Let's give it up for Fred Zinkie of Newcastle, Ontario, Canada, who has become our 14th owner for the New York Auction League on Friday, Sept. 1st. Fred is new to our high-stakes events, but he's shown a lot of interest in the auction league format and after several conversations with yours truly he decided to jump into the fishpool that we call New York! Welcome aboard Fred and I know you'll have some fun with this wild group in the Big Apple. Oh, and best of luck in the hunt for the $4,000+ in league prizes.

Greg, I believe that closes up the auction in New York (unless we get another 14 diehards). Perhaps we can draw the nomination order soon -- I can't wait to see who I get stuck next to!

I see Chicago now has 19 for the auction (AWESOME!). Not sure if a decision was made as to whether the first 14 would be in one league or not. Most of my "brothers" are also in the first 14, and I would love to square off against them, but if we get 9 more, I am open to "letting the chips fall where they may".
I guess what I am asking is if we don't get another 9 signups, what will happen???
I for one am HIGHLY AGAINST doing an auction via 'two cities", phone, etc.
Being that I was in the first 14 signups, I am hoping that wouldn't be an issue.

Yeah, there's one guy on the list still checking his schedule and one guy who had to be taken off the list for personal reasons who wants back in. So let me finalize that spot first and then we'll see what happens. I doubt we'd get a second auction league there, but I want to finalize things first before we pick the order since the only real news there is who you're sitting next to.

[/QUOTE]The first 14 signups are GUARANTEED of being in a live league there and we'll see how far we get with this second league. I know of at least 2-3 guys who were in Chicago last year who are checking their schedules first before signing up, so I think we're going to be close for this second one. We'll figure it out once we get closer to Draft Day, but the first 14 signups have nothing to worry about.

Who's Coming To The 2006 NFFC And Where?
We begin our 14th league in the main event with the addition of another new member to the growing NFFC family. Let's give it up for Dan Thomas of Kissimmee, Florida (home of the Houston Astros' spring training site) as Dan has just signed up for the NFFC's main event at the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott on Saturday, Sept. 2nd. Dan is new to our family of high-stakes events and we welcome him with open arms. Thanks for your trust and support Dan and I promise we'll take care of you in the Windy City. Oh, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.
