It's amazing how Brees is viewed as a solid 1st round pick in some drafts, and a late 2nd round pick in others.

I think that drafters who get Brees in the 2nd essentially get two 1st round picks.

So the question then becomes if you're picking mid 1st round do you gamble that your in one of those leagues where QBs won't fly off the board or not?

Most of the 7 drafts I've done so far, the top 3 QBs are gone by 1.7.

Yep...if you want Brees, you have to assume he'll be gone by the 2nd Round.

But if you pick a top-3 RB or Megatron mid 1st, and then Brees falls into your lap in the 2nd...that's rosterbation right there.

well i tried it today picking 5.

first 4 picks were the 3 RBs and Rodgers so I took Megatron at 5.

Brady & Brees went first round so I took Stafford at 2.8 (having strongly considered Newton)

Then Newton didn't go until 3.11
