No to your question, Snake.

Eddie Kennison had every opportunity to step up his game this year, but has proved that he is a great #2 WR. But not more than that. If Samie Parker's head and eyes and hands can catch up with his legs, he will have some impressive numbers next year.

Furthermore, I am very sure that either Reggie Wayne, Eric Moulds or Terrell Owens will wind up on this team next year and give more room for the offense to grow.

I LOVED to watch the Chiefs when Joe Montana and Marcus Allen were their starters...It was like playing a game of Madden Football where you can start your favorite players! There were very few Chiefs I remembered, but I did get into KC football during that time period.

Didn't Andre Rison play for one season there too? After Montana and Allen...

I just did some research...In late 1996, Andre Rison had sworn that he threw his Superbowl ring from the Green Bay Packers in a river because he had felt used like a "prostitute" in Green Bay...Andre Rison then played for 3 seasons with the Chiefs from 1997-1999 so he was a legit WR, at least for his first season there. He had 72 catches his first season there, his next 2 seasons had a total of 61 catches combined.

The chess moves have already begun in the AFC West. Denver talks to T.O. so Kansas City has to talk to T.O.. Sorry, the only white qb T.O. respects is Bret so I think we can throw out these two teams. Not to mention T.O. has no use for running teams. Prediction is T.O. will end up in Texas or Louisiana as Parcells/Jerry Jones, Kubiak, Payton could make T.O. happy.

I can't see him in New Orleans, for a few reasons;

1) I don't see Brett going there, so for your reasons above, T.O won't go.

2) T.O in New Orleans (the city) is about is scary as it gets! I'm sure he could keep his nose clean though! :rolleyes:

3) What would Joe Horn do? Joe wants to be the "media boy" for the Saints, as he always gets his mug on the camera. If T.O were there, he would take all of Joe's "pub", and Horn would probably hire someone to shoot him.

Now that wouldn't help fantasy owners anywhere. ;)

T.O is probably going somewhere where he has a shot at a ring. I think Denver is a logical choice, and Mike Shanhan is arrogant enough to think he can control him! :rolleyes:

ESPN had a segment on T.O. last night. They made a good point on why T.O. will not go anywhere except a team that has a shot at the Superbowl. T.O. can't be expected to play any longer than 1 season without making some kind of major trouble that can tear apart a team. And 1 year may be stretching it. He needs a 1 year deal, or a deal that has many many restrictions if he gets into trouble. He is the best WR in football if you pay him what he wants for 1 year. After that, Dr. T.O. becomes Mr. Hyde.

I agree with Shanahan's arrogance but my top 2 picks are Dallas and Houston for these reasons:

1) Who is more arrogant than Jerry Jones outside of maybe Al Davis who has not been heard from in quite a while?
2) If anyone can control him from a coaching standpoint, I'll give Parcells top billing.
3) Kubiak was Denver's OC and they need a wr opposite Andre Johnson in the worst way. Just a good fit for T.O.
4) For the record, Horn has publicly stated he would welcome T.O. opposite him on the field and could be a stabilizing factor for T.O. since he has the Pro Bowls to match. With Stallworth there, it will depend on what Payton wants to do as to whether or not they go for T.O. As for Brett though, this is a distinct possibility and it might be hard for him to turn down that much talent on that side of the ball. If Jerry Jones or me owned the Saints this would already be a done deal. :D

TamuRick - you are dreaming with this TO/Favre scenario as only a Saints fan can...That's what the off-season is for, Snake. Just like I keep hoping to hit the Powerball so I can buy the team from Benson and play REAL fantasy football. :D It's not overly far-fetched to think Brett would want to bring excitement to his home area still devastated by Katrina, be close to home, and tutor either Young or Leinart for a couple of seasons. Many football people have been saying the Saints have the talent if they only had a leader and Aaron Brooks couldn't lead a horse to water if he was standing in the middle of a lake.
