2012 Las Vegas Tentative Schedule Of Events

If I go to Vegas the first weekend Thursday just became a golf day. I know you used to have a golf day the first year or two in Vegas so maybe it is time to renew an original tradition.

Any word on what hotel yet? Would like to stay where all the action is gonna be. Would also like to get booked while pricing is low. Any idea when you might be able to release this info? I know you are baseball centric right now with that season getting close but we are only 6 months away from THE SEASON starting!!!!

thanks... We should be able to make a decision very soon. I'll be in Northbrook this week for meetings to finalize this, hopefully. We have three very good options in Las Vegas.

MGM Grand should be available..... WCOFF never showed up last year. Maybe that soured them.... That said, boy do they have room. Rates are good that week too (I'm already checking as my son, who turns 21, will join me this year).

Okay, I need your help with the Second Weekend schedule in Las Vegas as we're updating the site with new text now. I like this schedule, but I do want to host a draft after the NFL Viewing Party if there's enough interest. That's still only 8 pm PT and something simple might be fun. Any suggestions? I'm interested in your feedback.

I was thinking of a 12-team Draft Champions League or a 14-team DC. I honestly don't know how many people are going to be coming to Las Vegas that early, so it's tough to judge, but throw out some suggestions and we'll see what happens. Thanks all.

One change I did make here involved Saturday's second round of Main Event drafts. I moved them closer to the first ones so that folks can still do this afternoon draft and have time to celebrate the night in Las Vegas. I hope this works for everyone. Thanks.

Okay, I did tweak the Thursday schedule a little bit too, allowing for someone to still play the 14-Team Draft Champions and the 14-Team Auction League on the same day. I know some folks may not be able to make the First Weekend live events and maybe this is a way for them to still play in both of these formats live. We now have an extra day to add events, so this makes a little sense to turn Thursday into that day for those who want it. Here's the revised Thursday schedule now:
