You better hope Jarius shows up.

Well done Andy. If Harvin's injury turns out to be more smoke than fire, then you got a 2+ round discount to go with a solid WR corps. For RB depth, you'll need BJGE to keep his gig or Pierce to siphon touches from Rice. Solid TEs and a nice upside+low floor QB combo.76erfan wrote:fun time last night in the bowling league.
from numero uno
qb kapernick,flacco,ponder,kolb,barkley
rb A.Peterson, MJD, BJGreen-Ellis, Pierce, Jacquizz, Dwyer,Felix Jones, Draughn
te Witten, B.Myers, Zach Miller(SEA), Ballard, G.Escobar
wr VJax, Jordy, Harvin, Lance Moore, LaFell, Mal.Floyd, Jar. Wright, C.Schilens, Plaxico
k Bailey, Henery, S.Graham, Cundiff
d Arizona, Washington, Philly
Here's mine from 7. My starter projections are lower than my last couple drafts due to not taking WRs til round 4; but if injuries hit my top RBs, I'll be thankful for the depth. Plus WRs could contribute from the back half of the draft.
QB: Romo, Cutler, Weeden
RB: TRich, RBush, DMac, Ingram, Hunter, CMichael, KDavis, Stephens-Howling, Wells, Battle
WR: Bowe, Wallace, Britt, Sanders, Streater, Woods, JBaldwin, Harris, Manningham, KWilliams, Binns, Toon, DJones
TE: Cook, Bennett, Dickson, Graham
DST: SF, NO
K: Dawson, Bironas, Bogotoy (once he beats out Graham in CLE )
Re: SOLD OUT: July 26 $150 DC Express
nice job for you as well Mike.
I wanted mark ingram...was bummed when you got him. Think highly of him this year.
If Britt stays healthy/out of trouble..your WR should be fine.
lol..I got shayne graham late so i figure if bogotoy wins job..some kicker will get hurt and he will be the first guy they call to replace him. I figure he plays somewhere.
yeah you and alot of others like the 3 rb start these days. so different from last year where wr were so hot and heavy
as for harvin...i didnt like who was on board at the time.....and i heard maybe no surgery..knew he wouldnt make it back most likely so i figured why not. if he happens to fail.....then i think lance moore can be a #3 and lafell or malcolm floyd can be a #4.

I'm not actually that thrilled with a 3-RB start and hadn't intended on it. Had I known there'd still be so many RBs left in mid-round 3, I'd have taken Julio in round 2.
Once I'd started RB/RB though, when round 3 came around, I liked the idea of RB3=DMac + WR1=Bowe more than WR1=Roddy + a lesser RB3 if the DMac tier was gone.

True. Julio is enticing in the second. I am not a fan of first pick with 3rr. Love vjax as a two...not a one. Thats why I gambled on harvin
Re: SOLD OUT: July 26 $150 DC Express
Injuries and depth aside, I prefer my start in last Friday's DC:
RB Rice
WR Julio
RB DMac
WR Nicks
RB Miller
QB Stafford
WR Maclin
... over last night's:
RB TRich
RB Bush
RB DMac
WR Bowe
WR Wallace
WR Britt
QB Romo
Of course, once the season starts, I could end up reversing my preference.

I'm actually pleasantly surprised by your team, given that you did reach a bit on a few picks. At least you didn't wait until rounds 33-35 to draft your only kickers (all NFL backups), like one team did!
But seeing that you asked…
• You may have been able to take a quality WR2 (Roddy, Cruz, VJax) in round 3 and still gotten Ridley on the way back at 4.5, but it would've been close
• Andrew Luck at 4.5 is about a round and a half before the earliest he’s gone so far this year. He can usually be had in the 8th. You could’ve landed another quality WR like Welker, Bowe, Amendola, Wayne, etc. there.
• Torrey Smith seldom goes before the mid-6th, so you probably could’ve waited a round on him. But if you had your eyes on TE Davis in the next round, then it probably didn't matter.
• Hartline in the 9th was a couple rounds early. You might've taken a WR with more upside there (i.e. Broyles, VBrown, Jeffery).
That said, again, I like your team; it's just a bit thin at WR. And void of knowing when you drafted each player, I’d guess others would like it too. Good players up and down and you should be competitive. Scary to think that this team could’ve been even better – but I’m glad it’s not. Good luck.
