Re: Show Your Stacked Cutline Team
I just completed my first one of these, not sure yet if I'm going to do another. There's some seriously stacked teams posted in this thread. I don't think mine here measures up, the RB depth worries me and the WR's aren't strong enough to make up for it. I'd probably go in a couple different directions if I could do it over again.
QB - Aaron Rodgers, Matt Schaub, EJ Manuel
RB - Adrian Peterson, Lamar Miller, Rashad Mendenhall, Ronnie Hillman, Jonathan Stewart, Bilal Powell, Joseph Randle, Andre Ellington
WR - Demaryious Thomas, Dwayne Bowe, Pierre Garcon, Desean Jackson, Vincent Brown, Darrius Heyward-Bey, AJ Jenkins, Stephen Hill, Brandon Lloyd
TE - Vernon Davis, Owen Daniels, Ed Dickson
K - Stephen Gostkowski, Matt Prater
D - Seattle
QB - Aaron Rodgers, Matt Schaub, EJ Manuel
RB - Adrian Peterson, Lamar Miller, Rashad Mendenhall, Ronnie Hillman, Jonathan Stewart, Bilal Powell, Joseph Randle, Andre Ellington
WR - Demaryious Thomas, Dwayne Bowe, Pierre Garcon, Desean Jackson, Vincent Brown, Darrius Heyward-Bey, AJ Jenkins, Stephen Hill, Brandon Lloyd

I thought you got some good deals out of the #1 spot, Glenn.Glenneration X wrote:I just completed my first one of these, not sure yet if I'm going to do another. D. Thomas at 2.10
P. Garcon at 6.10
V. Davis at 7.1
O. Daniels at 15.1
Were all good deals.
I think you got Top players at QB, RB, K, and DEF. Can't do much better than that!
Add a Top 5 WR and TE and you're in great shape.
I think picking at the ends in these drafts stinks.
Tonight was my 9th draft and the last one I need to get the 9-Pack Deal.
I've been stuck picking at 1, 8, 1, 3, 1, 10, 7, 6, and 10.
I've never had so many #1 picks in my life. Where were these picks when Faulk and LT were playing?
I don't like any of my 5 teams from the 1 or 10 spots.
And there are such swings from one day to the next.
On Tuesday night, Kaepernick, Bob 3, Wilson, and Romo were available at the 9.10/10.1 turn.
Since I was stuck in the 10th spot tonight, Wednesday night, I decided to wait until the 9.10/10.1 pick and take 2 of whichever QBs were there.
Wilson was the only that made it to the 9.10/10.1 turn and my draft was over.
I guess we'll see how things play out, but I definitely like the middle much, much, much more than the ends in these drafts.

Ahhhhhh, Marc, you are the small caps Diesel if I remember. When did you start going ORMOND on us? Nice team if your WRs stay healthy and step up. The DIESEL would be proud.Diesel wrote:10 PM Draft Tonight...
