SOLD OUT: The Debut NFFC Platinum

After being sold out in the debut NFFC Platinum League since April, we have unfortunately had three owners drop out of this league in the last two weeks, leaving us two teams short at this point. I sure wish owners would consider the consequences before signing up for a high-dollar league like this one and not finalizing plans until July 31st, but here we are now looking for two more owners.

This one is set for Saturday, Sept. 6th at 6 pm PT at the Bellagio Las Vegas. We'll make some calls, but this is not an easy spot to fill at the last minute. Each owner that dropped out is still looking at this event, but at this point we have to move on and look for new owners. A lot of people have a lot of money tied up and definitely want to compete at this level.

I just talked with Jeff and he is still interested in this one, so let's stay positive here. There are several folks who have a lot of money on the line in an Aug. 16th Million Dollar Fanduel baseball contest and some of those folks may need a tax break here!!! Jeff is one of the lucky few who has a ticket to the Million Dollar contest and that will alter his decision. But he is very interested in this league, so let's keep pushing.

Thanks Jeff and thanks to everyone for being so patient. We knew this wouldn't be easy, but we still like the prospects of this Platinum League. Hang in there all.

Okay, great news tonight: Stephen Stith will make his schedule work for the Platinum league, so we are back to 11 confirmed signups with one spot still open. But we are close again and there is a strong feeling that we're done losing owners who previously committed. Thanks again to everyone who was able to make this work for the entire league. There's a lot of money on the line and a lot of money that people are committing to this league, so let's lock this down and finalize the biggest league prize in high-stakes fantasy football.

Great news: The debut NFFC Platinum League is NOW SOLD OUT!!

James Mound joined the NFFC today for the first time and jumped into our highest-dollar league. He's excited to make his debut with us and he loves the format. This league is now set and ready to go!! Wow, what a great feeling it is.

Okay, I'll email everyone again about the draft selection process, but we've all agreed to be on hand an hour in advance and to pick draft spots live. That will give you a bit to prepare for your draft spot and we'll start right on time at 6 pm PT. What a rush this final draft of the season is going to be. Thanks all.
