That's pretty funny Glenn. :D

For the record, I'm certainly not suggesting that WR/WR/QB is the ONLY way to draft successfully. I just feel it's the SAFEST way. Yes, RBs can be taken early and if you're on the right side of that coin toss, you won't waste precious early picks. And most of us tend to consider this "skill" when we hit on them. I'm sure the other half who didn't thought they were making good, safe picks too. ;)

Funny...I agree with both points of view here but for me it depends on my draft slot. The closer I am toward the front I like the 2RB 1WR start and toward the back 2WR 1RB.

I won't repeat what's already been written because it was said well the 1st time. I will add this though....I believe there will be $$$$$ WR's in the 6..7..and 8th rounds this year. I'm talking guys that will reach #2 and #3 WR stats.

I think there will be 10 solid choices at WR and about 6 RB's to choose from. TE's will still be plentiful but QB's will be risky with more than one owner targeting Big Ben and a solid #2.

My draft will be totally based on what I think I can get in rounds 6-9. In my opinion too many owners get overly focused on the 1st 5 rounds.

Let's face it...by draft day the we will be able to quote the 1st 5 rounds so why not work backwards by nailing the next 70 players.

I like the 2 RB strategy best for now but who knows by the time Sept. rolls around!

I'm pretty sure we ALL hit on some mid-round gems each year and that some of those are necessary to win leagues. Last year in our Classic, we hit on Smith/NYG and VDavis; in our Primetime, DClark and Harvin. All I'm saying is that despite that, if you whiff on those 2 RBs you take in the first 3 rounds, a couple of hits on mid-round WRs aren't going to save your team. Now, as I said, IF you're lucky (or skillful? ) enough to be on the right side of those early RB coin tosses, then YES, you've probably got a winning team. But if you hit on mid-round WRs (or RBs for that matter) AND your first 3 picks also produce as projected, then your chances for success are greater, IMHO.

Hoping the WR's I drafted later will pay off
Maclin, Edelman, Collie, Holmes, Bess, Murphy and Jacoby Jones.

Could be a team that surprises or is very bad.
