Who's Coming To The 2005 NFFC?
Let's give it up for our first new NFFC signup as Ronald Krause of Medfield, Massachusetts has joined the NFFC in a big way. Ronald is new to our family of high-stakes contests as he joined our National Fantasy Baseball Championship in 2005 for the first time and will be in the NFFC for the first time as well. Ron will be drafting in Las Vegas on Friday, Sept. 2nd in the Draft Champions League and the Auction League ($650 entry fees) and on Saturday, Sept. 3rd in the NFFC's main event. Thanks for trusting in us, Ron, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize, the $5,000 league prize, the $4,250 Draft Champions prize and the $4,000 Auction League prize.

Who's Coming To The 2005 NFFC?
We're glad to welcome back John Briganti of Burnsville, Minnesota to the NFFC as John will be drafting in the main event at the New York Hilton on Saturday, Sept. 3rd. John competed in Chicago League 4 this past year, finishing with a 7-6 record and 1,614.15 points, good for 96th overall. He had a good ride in the Consolation Bowl before stumbling in the last week to finish 43rd in the playoff round. Thanks for your trust and support, John, and best of luck this year in New York as you battle for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Who's Coming To The 2005 NFFC?
We just announced one NFFC member moving from Chicago to New York and now we'll introduce another member who is moving from the New York draft to the Chicago draft. Billy Wasosky of Richmond, Virginia won New York League 6 this year with an 11-2 record, finishing with 1,827.15 points, good enough for 13th place overall during the regular season and $5,000. Pocket Aces finished 27th in the Championship Round with 501.55 points, but that didn't take away from a great season. Congratulations Bill. Wasosky's Skillz That Thrillz Auction League team finished 9-4 with 1,662.95 points and qualified for the playoffs, but lost in the first round. Bill is signed up to compete at the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott on Saturday, Sept. 3rd in the main event, and who knows, with a little coaxing may be talked into the auction league as well!!! Thanks for trusting in us again, Bill, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Who's Coming To The 2005 NFFC?
Joey Liner of Baltimore, Maryland and co-manager Jason Cerato led Jones Falls Terrace to a 9-4 record in New York League 6 last year and finished with the high point total in the league (1,884.6 points), which was good enough for $1,500 and sixth place overall. They had a shot at $100,000 in the Championship Round, but finished 30th in the playoffs when the team scored 485.97 points. It was a great first year and Joey and Jason were all set to step up their participation in 2005 by initially signing up for the NFFC Ultimate League. But something happened between Tuesday and today. Jason decided to get married and the wedding will be in Las Vegas on Sunday, Sept. 4th. The guys talked it over with the ladies and came to a mutual decision: They'll love them forever if they can do the NFFC's main event on Saturday and get married on Sunday! They agreed, so our latest signup is leaving New York for Las Vegas and the Ultimate League for the NFFC's main event. Thanks for the undying support, guys, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 again this year and the $5,000 league prize.

Who's Coming To The 2005 NFFC?
Let's give it up for another returning NFFC member as Josh Ferenc of San Carlos, California has just signed up for the NFFC's main event in Las Vegas on Saturday, Sept. 3rd. Josh competed in Las Vegas League 4 last year and started out 1-4, but won seven of his last eight games to finish 8-5 with 1,680.3 points, good enough for 58th in total points during the regular season. He then finished eighth in the Consolation Round, just short of a free entry for 2005. Josh's Gantze Machers also just missed a money finish in the Draft Champions League, finishing fourth in Las Vegas with 2,418.3 points. Josh is all set for now in the NFFC's main event and we wish him best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize, and don't be surprised to see him back in the Draft Champions League and even the Auction League in 2005.

Who's Coming To The 2005 NFFC?
Let's add another returning NFFC member (our 27th to date for the main event) from Las Vegas League 4 as Randall Barbour of Cockeysville, Maryland has signed up to compete in the main event again in Las Vegas on Saturday, Sept. 3rd. Randall's Poop In The Closet team (hmmmm, wonder if he had Najeh Davenpoop on his team!) finished second in LV 2 with a 9-4 record and 1,798.2 points, good enough for 17th overall during the regular season. Randall's team admittedly laid a big one in the Championship Round as it pooped out with 463.83 points and 32nd overall, but that didn't take away from his regular season showing that netted him $1,500. Great season, Randall, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize this year.
For the record, we've already filled one NFFC main event league in Las Vegas (we had six in 2004) and we have 28 signups already for that and 17 more for the Draft Champions and Auction Leagues. Thanks for the great support everyone.

Who's Coming To The 2005 NFFC?
This next one is a good one. Let's give it up for our NFFC Mid-Season A League champions, Claire and Jan Gustafson of Denver, Colorado, who won an entry into the 2005 NFFC main event. The ladies led Left In the Dark to the league title, finishing with 1,700.5 points, 67.8 points ahead of the second place team. Claire and Jan have been draft facilitators for us in baseball and football, with Claire working LV 1 this year and Jan working LV4 for football. When the Mid-Season League A was organized, Meat Loaf had a team, but at the last minute he couldn't participate. Claire wanted to watch the draft (she's a Meat Loaf groupie!) and volunteered to take over that team after Meat couldn't make it. Sure enough, the ladies participated in their first online fantasy football draft and beat the veteran boys with the help of Brett Favre and Donald Driver. Now Claire and Jan are Packer fans for life!!! They will be in Las Vegas in March as draft facilitators for our baseball event and then will be sitting on the other side of the table in September in Las Vegas with the chance to win $100,000. Not a bad $100 investment, ladies. Welcome to our NFFC family, Claire and Jan, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.
