Disclaimer: I placed the players for each team based on nothing really. They may or may not be the rosters that will start this weekend for these teams. I believe they are the complete rosters though but I could be wrong.

Tongue in cheek, but 14 team leagues, 3RR doesn't appear to catch up the back end of the draft.

 The back end of the draft didn't catch onto Brady and AP.....

In LV1, AP was 4th pick in Rd 3, in almost all the other leagues, he went late 3rd, and even an embarrassing early 4th.

3RR levels the field for draft day. It doesn't save owners from drafting bad.
Thank God for 3rr. Can you imagine what the top of the leaderboard would have looked like without it?

You can't draw any conclusions about 3RR based on the championship round. The drafts are so scripted in the first few rounds that it's a product of which players are doing well the past 2 weeks dictates which draft slots are doing well overall.
It would have been much worse. I'd would have had AP instead of Lynch. That would be another #1 in Top 10.

Cool drafted Larry Johnson in round one.
They had an unreal team.
Tough league:
Rob B.
Jeff Clampitt
Mark Moyer

I think we 4 ended up within 12 points or so.

Congrats to Cool From The Wire who blew us away.
Simple you can take chances with LT or S.Jackson on hand. I made bad picks, picking out of the 11 hole. 3RR or not would not of matter for me.
But how to make things even, I think you can't.
But it still comes down to how you draft and injuries.
Shawn Childs taking AP at 3.14 is not taking a chance, it's a gift from heaven.

I guess I'm the only one that rated AP very high before the draft..... The first thing I told Greg at the pool days before the draft is that i wanted AP 3.14, and doubted I'd get him.

ALL the teams at 9-14 had a chance to take him, chose not to, and would now take him in a heartbeat over whomever they took.

I was stunned that C.Williams, A.Green, C.Benson went ahead of him in my league, but that's just me.

p.s. I agree with your last two comments. Also, I think I did well this year because I didn't take any chances. I stayed away from injury prone and RBBC players and focused on PPR depth.

Rob... I saw your post on the amazing comebeack last year. What PLACE were you in after Week 2?
Isn't AD in a RBBC?

Kudos to you if you had AD rated in the top 33 players overall. Considering he was going to a team with an incumbent 1000 yard rusher and he also was recovering from an injury.

That is terrific insight!
2008- Didn't finish last overall in the Classic.
2009- Didn't finish last overall in the Classic or Primetime.

That is terrific insight! I had him behind LT, SJ, Addai, Gore, LJ, Westbrook and even with Bush going in.

He has too much talent to be considered a RBBC IMO. I figured the job would be his sometime between week 4-6 on talent alone, just like any RB in the past with his talent.

Why let a slightly above average RB at best skew your ratings? He wouldn't have had those numbers with AP on his team last year, so why consider them this year? Superior talent will always wind up playing.

To win the $100K, you have to take one chance IMO, and for me, that was the guy.

For the guy that won Wk 1-13, his choice was Brady in Rd 2 and kudos to him.
