Marty We're saving that play for Ice Bowl II at Lambeau Field on Jan. 20, 2008!!! :D Although I must admit, Favre is the WORST at doing a quarterback sneak. You're right, Grant would have to take it in.

YES, 150-1. If true HOW can you pass on Favre?
But of course you could have placed bet after week 1. Excellent point. I saw the 150-1 as value too good to pass up yet I couldn't see the same with Favre during the draft.
Btw, no it wasn't after the season started. It was at the Venetian, Thursday, Opening Day.

The key has been pass protection for Favre and it's been outstanding all year. It's been interesting to read the previews of this game and see so many folks talking about Favre receiving pressure like he hasn't seen this year. Paul Zimmerman wrote as such in this week's Sports Illustrated and I was surprised because he apparently watches so much film of teams. I mean, it could happen, but if you watch the Packers, they run 70+ percent of their plays out of the shotgun and Favre repeatedly gets passes off in 1.5-2 seconds. He doesn't sit back there and hold it. He's been sacked like three times in the last five games.

It should be fun. I think Romo will have a big game too and Witten for sure. If it's not a shootout, I'll be surprised because I think both offenses are really playing well right now. And Favre is checking off at the line so much that if he sees a blitz coming he will throw it right away. Should be fun, fun, fun.

The Packers have been terrible against TEs this season. I think Witten could have a monster game. To me, he's the X factor here. I also think the Cowboys will be able to get some things done on the ground with Jones and Barber. The Packers, meanwhile, will be able to exploit Dallas' weakness in the secondary with their passing game and I think Favre will have a good game.

I think this is going to be a game that will live up to its billing but I think the Cowboys are just a little bit better right now. So I look for them to prevail 27-24 on a late Folk FG.

23-17 - a rookie fg kicker will decide the game.
One the Chiefs should have drafted instead of Medlock. Does that narrow it down enough?

P.S. Are the Dolphins officially on the clock yet? :D

With the first pick in the 2008 NFL Draft the Miami Dolphins take Jimmy Clausen, QB, Notre Dame! DOUGH!
