Show Your NFFC Teams And Get Ready For Feedback

Thank God I had the NFFC to take mind off the disastrous night I had in the NFBC across the board.

12 Team Online Championship from the 6th spot. Ran about 12 or 15 scenarios for my first 8 picks leading up to the draft, so I had my strategy ready. In none of those scenarios was it contemplated that I would take Aaron Rodgers with the 18th pick (assumed he would be gone) or Michael Turner (who I don't even like) with pick No. 42 (my 4th). Yet, that's what happened.

First 14 picks from the 6 Spot

1.) Andre Johnson
2.) Aaron Rodgers
3.) Peyton Hillis
4.) MIchael Turner
5.) Mario Manningham
6) Kenny Britt
7.) Lance Moore
8.) AJ Green
9.) D. Woodhead
10.) R. Gronkowski
11.) Delone Carter
12.) D. Keller
13.) R. Fitzpatrick
14.) S, RIdley

Team:

QB: Rodgers, Fitzpatrick
RB: Hillis, Turner, Woodhead, D. Carter, S. Ridley, J. Snelling, J. Forsett
WR: A. Johnson, Manningham, K. Britt, Lance Moore, AJ Green, A. Brown, J. Avant
TE: Gronkowski, Keller
D: NO

I'm pretty pleased.

I'm pretty pleased. FWIW, it looks like 38 was the latest Turner had gone until tonight at 42.

QB: Rodgers, Fitzpatrick
RB: Hillis, Turner, Woodhead, D. Carter, S. Ridley, J. Snelling, J. Forsett
WR: A. Johnson, Manningham, K. Britt, Lance Moore, AJ Green, A. Brown, J. Avant
TE: Gronkowski, Keller
D: NO Great Core and some serious upside at all positions.

That's the fun part of the game, adjusting to a draft on the fly. Being able to pull the trigger when opportunity knocks and following through with the new plan is key. Nice team.

In the national contests,II think you have to take chances on fliers instead of the guy who's upside is 4-48 every week. That's waiver wire fodder in 12 team leagues.

That would have been my question Billy because it looks more like a Classic roster.

Either way I do not think it is strong enough to compete. No real stud at QB, RB, or WR. First 3 picks = Forte - Turner - Colston?

Not much upside on the bench either. Barber is a must pick if you reach for Forte but I think he hurts Forte and this starting roster.

I am not very high on Forte or Colston as High #1's so that is affecting my evaluation. Turner is going to be solid but does not have monster potential which is what I want from a pick on the first turn.

Good Luck
