Housh is going to land somewhere, forgetting Rice and Vjax returning much later, so its really two spots that need to be filled until then, which will be the bulk of the season. It's possible to make it a "fair" team but certainly not a winner. This is a totally bad situation that's probably going to get a lot of press once everyone gets back home. I think it's going to be unfair for the overall standings. If someone (and hopefully so) takes over this team I think they should be able to go to the undrafted players & revamp the team with a minimum of 5 changes up to 7. Now way a team has 4 qb's! Leinart has been cut & if picked up will be a backup. Hardesty, Tate, & Avery are out for the season. V Jax could be kept cause someone else would have picked him anyway but he's out for a minimum of 6 games with possibility of not playing the season. Rice is out up to 8 weeks, possibility of the season with doctors telling him his hip is career threatening if he returns ( but he's upbeat as a young player). J.Campbell is a wasted spot as a third qb. This is terrible for the Boston league, but really terrible for the overall. This needs immediate attention. I'm sure with all the teams in the league a little extra loaded due to this mishap that even the free agent pool there is short on talent to pick from as replacements but at least it could put names in positions that would be playing on Sundays. This is still going to be messed up.
REVAMP???? COME ON

YOU CANT BE SERIOUS???? ABSOLUTELY 100% THAT BETTER NOT HAPPEN!!! THE TEAM IS WHAT IT IS...ISN'T THERE A RULE IN PLACE THAT WAS FOLLOWED TODAY FOR THIS TEAMS DRAFT? THAT'S THAT. IF SOMETHING LIKE THAT HAPPENS WE WOULD ASK FOR OUR CASH BACK. IT WAS BAD ENOUGH DEALING WITH THE BS TODAY IT BETTER NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT WHERE IT IS RIGHT NOW!

HOW AND WHY NFFC DID NOT MAKE 100% SURE HE WOULD BE AVAILABLE VIA PHONE AFTER KNOWING HE WOULD NOT ATTEND IS UNAVAILABLE REALLY...THEY DIDN'T EVEN HAVE HIS PHONE NUMBER...HOW CAN THAT BE, KNOWING HE WOULD NOT BE IN ATTENDANCE AND HAD TO PICK OVER THE PHONE??...THIS WAS UNFORTUNATE FOR ALL CONCERNED..A GUY LOST THE QB HE WANTED BADLY AND NO ONE HAD A SHOT AT JETS D EVEN HAD THEY WANTED to take a shot at them early....he got them kinda early i think but who knows if/when he would have taken if was there.

AGAIN WASN'T WHAT WAS DONE TODAY DONE BY LISTED RULES? IF SO IF MUST END RIGHT THERE.

trust me i understand the problem with this situation but lets not make it worse but letting him have first crack at every FA and pick and choose players like that..no way can that happen

right now im more worried about the rosters as none of them are right..or even close to being right...almost looks like they entered the wrong league into our leagues rosters spots...not good..sorry for caps..didnt know they were locked
REVAMP! YES REVAMP! AS CLEARLY STATED ABOVE 5 TO 7 PICKS TO MAKE IT REMOTELY FAIR! THIS LEAGUE SHOULD NEVER HAVE STARTED FOR THE SAKE OF EVERYONE PLAYING NFFC & NOW YOU WANT TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE SITUATION KNOWING IT'S NOT RIGHT! sorry bout the caps, didn't know they were locked

lets all try to make this right without getting crazy here. the bottom line was there should have been a contact number for a guy calling in. its insane not to have a number for a guy using the phone to play. i have been a gentleman about todd but if you ask several player there were issues with him not listening to reason. i wont go there to be polite.

first of all lets look at the league. is it fair for the first few teams that play this team to get an ez win while teams that play erics team have a chance to lose. top prize in this league is win / lose. in my mind it is not fair and i am not happy with this at all. i have no idea when i play this dude. even if i play him the first couple weeks i dont think its fair to the other players. I was the one who told todd not to give him players on IR during draft and made a point to shout it out. todd said that we were going to go by ADP and that was it ! going by ADP is fine if you use a little common sense. SOMETHING must be done. if everyone gets a win playing this team it does not matter to other leagues and makes it fair to THIS league. greg , call me up and i will tell you and you alone what went down and how i feel about the way it went down.

Frankie, all rosters will be entered shortly. The current setup just has a dummy league that we have to overwrite first. It wasn't supposed to be showing until we entered rosters, but it is. Give us a bit and Seth should have that roster entered shortly. Thanks.

Guys, I haven't read this whole thread or even talked with Seth or Todd yet, but I will state that Erick knew what he had to do yesterday to get into this draft and I'm not sure why he didn't show up. I am in a WCOFF big money auction with him next weekend and will certainly talk with him then and before then. His team was paid for, he was ready to draft and he was excited to be in the NFFC. He will run that team from here and I hope he knows that.

I was not contacted during yesterday's draft about this and I wish I had been. We did have people who signed up after we were full and we could have easily replaced him. That's the unfortunate part. But I'm sure Seth and Todd felt that at some point Erick would call in and we'd be good to go. But there comes a point of no return where certainly I would have interacted.

That being said, this team is paid for, it will be run by that owner and away we go. I wish it hadn't happened, but this team is not going abandoned and someone has to be responsible for not calling in and making sure he was actually making every pick.

Good luck to all and this Boston league is still as tough as any league in the NFFC and will continue to be during the season.

You can't really fault the guys running the Boston draft. They had to make a decision on what to do on a very short time frame.

Unfortunately, the decision was wrong. You can't just draft a team based on ADP when 3-4 of those guys are on IR. That was just dumb. Somebody needed to use a little common sense. Sometimes people make wrong decisions, but it is what it is at this point. We can't change the history, and we should forgive the guy(s) who made the mistake.

The real problem lies in the fact that 13 other teams are now a little stronger in the overall. That could hurt everybody, just a little bit, even though it is unquantifiable.
