2nd Annual Super Satellite DC
Please see the changes to the date and payouts! Post in this thread if you want to join this league. Continue reading if you have what it takes to compete against the best and you are interested in turning a $300 entry fee into $6000.

Draft Date/Time
Monday, Aug 27th at 8pm EST

Entry Fee
$300/team

PRIZES

28 teams @ $300/team
1st $6000.
2nd $600
3rd $400

or

14 teams @ $300/team
1st $3200
2nd $300

Teams
28 in one league (after the drafts).

Play format
Draft Champions with 3RR

Draft
Two drafts would be held simultaneously on mockdraftcentral. Each draft would be comprised of 14 teams. After the drafts were over, all 28 teams would be put in the same league! WOOOHOOO!! Super Satellite time!! [Greg will check to see if STATS can list all teams in the same league page]

Draft Slots
Determined by bidding some of your team's future points. If you are successful in securing a draft slot by bidding points, those points will be deducted from your team’s total at the start of the season. Obviously, some teams will start out with negative points.

This is how it would work; everyone would submit his or her bids to Greg via e-mail. (Only one e-mail to Greg per owner please). Greg will evaluate all of the bids he receives. For example, suppose the highest bid out of all 28 owners was 55 points. That owner would receive that draft slot and their season point total would begin at minus 55 (-55), instead of 0. Greg would remove that owner from future draft slot consideration. Greg would continue the evaluations by determining which owner bid the next highest amount (let’s say 50 points). That owner would receive that draft slot and their season point total would begin at minus 50 (-50), instead of 0. Greg continues the evaluation until all draft slots are awarded or there are no more bids to evaluate. Owners not bidding on a draft slot will receive a random draft slot from the remaining draft slots. Those teams will begin the season with 0 points (as they normally would).

I love the thought of turning $300 into $9000...what a great payout.

I agree RC, hopefully we will get a little momentum this week. One hell of an ROI!

I've added Terry Livingston to the list above and have all of his contact information for this. He's a recruit of Big Mike and he's looking forward to competing in this event, so let's get to 28 owners and beyond if possible. Keep it going guys.
