Who's Coming To The 2005 NFFC?

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Fri Jul 22, 2005 2:25 pm

We're glad to welcome yet another new member to the growing NFFC family as Mike Wheeler of Greenville, Wisconsin has signed up to compete in the NFFC's Draft Champions League in Las Vegas on Saturday, Sept. 2nd at the Excalibur Hotel & Casino. Mike was a first-time member of our National Fantasy Baseball Championship this year, drafting in Chicago, but he's coming out to Las Vegas for our football event. Mike lives about 30 miles down the road from our Krause Publications offices and we're glad to welcome yet another Cheesehead to the fold. See you in Las Vegas, Mike, and best of luck in the hunt for the $4,250 league prize.

But I'll work on it so that three married men like us can talk a good game with those fine ladies. ;)

Tell Dyv to hold tight with the party as I'm working on a Texas Hold 'em Tournament at the Palace Station immediately after the draft. I'm trying to reserve some poker rooms for around 3 p.m. if anyone is interested.

[/QUOTE]Is Moneymaker going to play? I'll take him out all in on the first hand with a pair of schit. ;)

I'll wait on the after party for now - can't wait forever, though!

Just assuming by your loquacious manner on the boards that you ain't gettin' any for free.

Richie, are you coming back this year? How about your buddie Tom? And are you bringing your famous hoagies to New York this year? Let me know how to reach you as I've had little luck contacting you at last year's phone number. Thanks man and I hope to see you again this year in the NFFC.

Richie Primo sat to our right at last year's draft in New York--great guy. My partner and I were already promised food and beverages in 2005, so I assume he's going to be partipating and not just supplying sustenance.

Richie is also a big Deadwood fan (as am I). Greg, just get him an Ian McShane autographed item and I'm positive you'll get him back.
