I am betting this rash of drafting four QBs in the first round won't survive the summer or the higher entry fees

I would love to hear from some of the participants in these drafts and hear the rationals on drafting four or five quarterbacks in the first round. Would be fun to see the same rounds from a satellite and see if maybe the DC format is influencing some of the picks.
I will guarantee you that it won't happen in the first round in Las Vegas or other Main Event venues.

Due to the fact that after the first 5-6 RB's, you have some serious question marks and that the WR's are so deep this year, I would bet that 75%+ of the main event leagues have 4 QB taken in the first round, and 40-50% will have 5 QB's gone.

In referring to drafting a QB in the first round, I thought I would never do so. This year I did. I had the number four pick and it was between Mr. Rodgers and Calvin. I calculated it out that I would get more points from Mr. Rodgers compared to Calvin, where I can draft for a comparable type of receiver in the second round. I can also see Brees and Stafford going in the first round this year, even in the live Las Vegas drafts...

In one draft I had the 10th pick and decided that I would take an elite QB if available and then still be able to do the same at the WR position in the next round. I gambled a bit and took Stafford at ten and I thought was lucky to have Fitz fall to me the next round. I knew that with this strategy, I would have to take RB's with at least my next two picks and felt that landing SJax and Turner was not all that bad.
I think it all boils down to where you want your strength to be. If you go elite QB early, chances are you will suffer a bit at the RB spot. WR is so deep that you can still find great value there in the later rounds. If you want true consistency, I think a guy like Brady would be the way to go in the first round and you can probably get him right after the top four backs and Megatron come off the board in most drafts. I would take Brady ahead of Calvin but that's just my personal preference.
