Bush but it's real close. I have them ranked almost equally. If Bush had fallen to me, though, I would've taken him. Both should catch a ton of balls but Bush offers more rushing production potential.Sandman62 wrote:Tom,
Who do you like better and why - Sproles or Bush?

Thanks Tom. I agree. In Sunday's DC, I was on the fence at 2.10 and both were available. Being so used to having to take Bush in the middle of round 2, I thought the value was better, and I took him again.
I'm thinking if Bush catches 70 balls or so and stays healthy, he's basically Sproles + 100 carries, no?

Re: Greg & I In Sirius Hosts League Draft Tuesday
We'll talk more about this draft on the STATS Fantasy Advantage show tonight but I think Greg did the right thing with his WR-WR start. Calvin was the smart pick at 9 and once Morris went off the board I think there was a big drop-off to the next tier of RBs led by Steven Jackson. So rather than dipping into a lower tier talent, he took another stud WR, giving him a potentially huge advantage over the field at that position. Now that start put pressure on him getting decent RBs later but if Murray can stay healthy he has RB1 upside and I think Ball is a strong RB2 option. Now if Murray gets hurt again he's going to be scrambling at RB but with Megatron and Julio, his WRs should be dominant (plus he has two upside guys in Hilton and Mike Williams as well).
I think this is a good example of adjusting to how the draft is unfolding. I know for a fact Greg was not planning on going WR-WR but he adapted and I think he did so in good fashion. One of the biggest mistakes I see fantasy players make is being too rigid with their draft plans and they can't or won't adjust to how their particular draft is unfolding. Greg did not make that mistake in this draft in my opinion.

Yeah I think they're very similar in terms of potential production. Love both guys as RB2s in PPR or RB1s if you draft someone like Calvin in the first or you get Sproles at a bargain price in the third and you've gone WR-WR or WR-TE (Graham).Sandman62 wrote:Thanks Tom. I'll be on John Hansen's show at 4 pm ET to talk about my draft yesterday. Tune in. I may have some positive things to say about it.
