So it's been a long three weeks waiting for this draft to start back up, exacerbated by the frantic first week of free agency and the anticipation that brings for where the players with new homes will be drafted when we start again tonight. Suffice it to say that I'm not thrilled with having to watch 11 picks go before I get another shot.
While waiting, I've been wondering which players so far through the first 13 rounds look like the best values, as well as some who may look a bit more like reaches at least for now. The closest I could come up with at this point - seeing this is the Trendsetters draft and we don't yet have any NFFC ADP data - was to use data from MFL 12-team PPR drafts. It's probably close enough to get a decent idea. And by using positional ranks instead of overal ADP, that should help reduce some of the differences due to scoring formats and our draft being a DC instead of a redraft.
Some interesting values (at least as much as any of this matters in March!
). In the highlighting below, I somewhat-arbitrarily set the threshold for how far apart the ADP was from the draft spot at 7 spots, just to highlight some players; feel free to draw your own conclusions. Green players (7) seem to be great values so far; red players (11) maybe not so much - though it's also quite likely that the ADP of the masses just hasn't yet caught up with us Trendsetters?
