Under the current system, the chances are pretty remote of a Top 10 team not making the playoffs. Gordon, have you worked out the permutations yet? i can't talk about it. i've been asked to "stop mentioning" it. sorry.

Gordon, I'll make a deal with you. I'll go for bidding on draft spots, if we have only $100 of bidding dollars....Are you still interested?

Knowing exactly how many points you need from your RB on MNF is intriguing. let's try a make-shift cost benefit analysis...sorry, i know i'll forget some stuff, so please add as you see fit. thanks.
Discussion point: H2H regular season format
Benefit(s):
1. old-school. always has been this way. simple format for everyone to understand
2. Knowing exactly how many points you need from your RB on MNF is intriguing
Costs:
1. Teams fall victim to scheduling snafus
2. Dead teams have an effect on league championships
MY OPINION: Having H2H best record SOLELY determine each league champion is inefficient. The league winner could very likley be there by LUCK (scheduling snafus & dead teams).
inefficient
1. a. Lacking the ability or skill to perform effectively; b. Not producing the intended result; ineffective
2. Wasteful of time, energy, or materials

Bidding on spots has to be a risk-reward thing. In Baseball you need so many more players, I think $1000 is good. In football, if you want to bid on a spot, you know it is going to put you behind the eight ball if you leave yourself with no money. With $100 you need to think, with a $1000, You bid 950 you still have plenty left to play. Just look at how much money owners have left right now.

No, I don't. I don't agree. I think $1000 is too much. I think 95% of the pick ups could be had for $1.
