Paul Hornung's 26 misses in a season is incredible -- wasn't aware of that one.
Here's another classic:
Uwe Von Schamann, 1984 Dolphins
9-for-19 FGs
66-for-70 XPs
A kicker with 70 extra-point attempts that doesn't crack 100 points scored is just INSANE!!! Easily the lowest FG/XP ratio in NFL history. That's a good stat, too. Gotta love these. Heck, with Marino throwing 48 TD passes that year how the heck was Von Schamann supposed to kick any field goals?

One final note about Hornung that I forgot: He also missed two extra points in 1964 after previously converting 149 of 151. He went 41-of-43 that year, so he missed a total of 28 kicks in 1964. Something wasn't right that year and he didn't kick again after that season. Crazy.
