Quite welcome ;)

We have 26 right now, need 2 more.

We'll have two leagues:

League A: Tuesday, October 5th at 10pm Eastern
bid for draft slot using FA money, roster is:
[QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1 Flex (RB/WR/TE only), TE, K, D and 8 bench]

League B: Tuesday, October 5th at 11pm Eastern
bid for draft slot using FA money, roster is:
[QB, RB, WR, WR, WR,Flex (RB/WR/TE), Super Flex (Any position QB to Kicker), TE, K, D and 8 bench]

Each will cost $100 to enter, league prize is a 2005 NFBC or NFFC entry

The draft location/system will be using Fanball.com's online draft room. I'm going to pay the $9.99 apiece for both leagues ( I know, I know, big spender... lol )

http://www.fanball.com/draft/index.cfm

Never used the system, but I think it will contain us adequately.

Once leagues are divided, the draft slot bidding system will be rolled out and clarified along with step by step 'things you have to do to take care of credit card and bidding and how to join the leagues, etc.'

For now, Here are the existing leagues based on comments received:

League A

Gekko
Brad Brown
Nnoy
da Bears
UFS
Vega$ Gambler$
Liquid Hippo

League B

Dyv
Walla Walla
KW3
JerseyPaul
Route C

Need to pick a league:

JB
KJ Duke/Zefurs
Chris Schinker
Dorkknocker
David Ondzes
Meat Loaf
Jeff Price
Jeff Rackliffe
Troy White
Jim Hoffstetter
Chris Piasecki
Jay Smith
Lyal Fox, Jr.
Bruce Barnard
Open Slot #1
Open Slot #2

Pick your position, first come, first serve.

I need help with playoff format, any concensus?

Choice #1: Run 13 weeks, H2H vs. each team in your league, best record wins, points is tie breaker (Negative: We have to play in week 17)

Choice #2: No H2H matchups, pure 'high points wins' (Negative: None really?)

Choice #3: Play 11 weeks, then use week 12 to pit Best H2H Record vs. Highest Remaining points. (Negative: Don't get to play each team in your league)

So, do we go straight points?

Thanks,

Dave

Dave

Could you switch me to league A? I want to see how this thing works under current roster requirements. Thanks.

I am in favor of high points.

It does take away some of the fun of H2H but it also eliminates a little of the luck factor.

What about having a couple doubleheader weeks so that we could play every team once and still have a playoffs? If that's not a possibility, I guess high points is the way to go.
