James is terrific at picking up blitzes and that's a very under-rated aspect of the Indy passing game. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if we see the Colts taking another RB in the first round of the 2007 draft. I don't think Addai is the long-term solution. The Colts will still be very good offensively because Manning is a terrific QB and that passing game is outstanding. They should be serviceable running the ball but they are going to miss Edge in my opinion.

You see the Steelers making the playoffs in '06?

Think Fast Willie will carry the load all year (250+ carries?)

Also, you think Heath Miller will be Big Ben's #2 target, or will another WR step up?

thanks Steelers definitely make the playoffs. Fast Willie gets most of the carries but Staley and Haynes (keep an eye on him) will be involved. I think Miller's OK as a TE but the guy I really like there to surprise is Cedric Wilson. Add him to the late-round sleeper list at WR. I like him a lot this season.

Jamal Lewis

Corey Dillon

Joe Horn

None of the above?

~Lance Of that group Culpepper, followed by Walker and then Dillon. I think Dillon has one more strong year left in him.

Can Deuce McAllister AND Reggie Bush co-exist and thrive like LenDale White and Reggie Bush did last season in college? (I know New Orleans O-line doesn't dominate like USCs did.)

But...

Here's what LenDale White got...working in harmony with Bush (career)...

1,302 yards rushing and 26 TDs.

Tom....a little more team oriented question:

Top 5 scoring NFL teams in 2006

Also....what do you see in the future for Eric Johnson? 2 years ago he was a huge factor at TE....now the 49'ers have V.Davis. I can't see a healthy EJ as a bench warmer. Maybe a trade on the horizon.....

~Lance Yes McAllister and Bush can co-exist for one season. Keep in mind Deuce is coming off a major injury which usually takes two years to fully recover from. So he may not be physically ready to handle 25-30 carries a game for a full season.

Maybe a trade on the horizon..... Maybe. He's talented but far too injury prone to rely on. I'm not high on him at all this season if he remains in SF. Johnson to Denver for Lelie would be a very good deal for both teams IMO.

Top 5 scoring teams? Off the top of my head, let's go with (not in order):

Indy
Cincinnati
Seattle
Carolina
Arizona
