Tom, glad to have you back in the fold.

My question concerns the draft in New York. Do you expect any surprises at the Hilton this year? I think everyone stays seated and nobody purchases half of a liquor store before the auction. How's that? ;)
See in Vegas...they get liquored up and take out their frustations on all the girls floating around. I guess in New York....a day trip away from the wife and no outlet....It must be a war there!!
New York rocks. And it's not just cuz I'm running the show. :D

Hey, Tom.

What's the earliest you'd consider drafting either Chicago or Baltimore Defense this year, and which do you think will be stronger in 2007 from a pure Fantasy perspective? Although Chicago has lost some punch, their SOS still looks enticing.

Thanks! I don't ever draft a defense until late. Just a personal preference. I think the Bears' ability to generate TDs on defense and in the return game still gives them the edge over the Ravens.

I've been criticized for taking two QB's (Palmer/McNabb) in the first five rounds of a DC league. What are your thoughts? My best RB is Bush but didn't take another one til late (L. White). Also, do you think I should avg 30+ a week from the QB position? Thoughts please.

Thanks I'm not sure I'd do that at QB in a non-trade league. I think you cost yourself at another position by loading up at QB like that. There's no question Palmer and McNabb are going to get you a ton of points each week. You can't go wrong there. But if it were me, I'd rather take a RB or WR instead of a second elite QB.

I agree but if one goes down then it won't be such a bad move plus it kept one out of other teams hands.

We are dying at WR in one league because we went RB 1st 3 round. R. Johnson, C. Portis, T. Jones
Our top 3 WR's are: Chambers, Glenn, Mason

Would you have take T. Jones in the 3rd or taken your 15th best receiver? Chambers was the best in the 4th.

What WRs were on the board when you took Jones? If I could get someone like Driver, I go with Driver. If it's someone like Burress I'd take Jones.

Hmmm. Actually, 9 WR's had gone. Driver, Colston, A. Johnson and Walker were all there. I thought one of those might be there in the 4th. We'll see how it pans out.

Thanks

I would've taken any of those WRs before Jones as my RB3. Just my take.

Starting in 2007, the WCOFF has banned the sale or consumption of alcohol from their main events. Tom, at any point in the not too distant future, do you see the NFFC adopting such a policy?
