All that matters is that Dillon got his 2 TDs

I deleted the post because I had the wrong quote attached to it, and I didn't get back to it. I had no idea what the score of the game was at the time. I was aiming my thoughts at the guy that said that you were foolish to try and pick games every week, which was in defense of YOU. Anyway, I guess by the halt of your MB updates, you saw that NE had completed a miracle pass play before their final TD, and that Seattle had 3 shots at a TD from 2 yards out in the final seconds of the game, which would have resulted in a cover. At least I got the collar out of my system before the real thing starts next week. Is it still on? Let me know, as I'm in. Figure out which lines we're going to use, and how we'll secure the monies. I'll go by the "honor" system if anyone wants, or I trust you to hold it in escrow. Let me know what's up.

What was your "next few weeks" action money...$50.??? I spend more in vig than you probably bet each week. :rolleyes:

I will post the rules in a new thread in a few minutes. We can vote on honor system, however escrow is a better option if all can agree. I lost my a** on the two late games. I venture to guess we play in the same ballpark.

As far as ripping into you for the delete, had to flow with the moment. And yes I was paying at the end against the back door cover by SEA, thank God the NE D stuffed them (too bad I gave it all back on the late games.)

Believe it or not, I went light on Seattle and Oakland. The Titans were my real downfall yesterday, but I didn't go strong on any of the games. The NFL is becoming murder to handicap, and anyone that's claiming to clean up is either lying or lucky. As for my "deleted" post, it went something along these lines;

If you don't want to participate in the contest, DON'T. If us talking about it bothers you, don't read the thread. Of course it's silly to think you can win picking 3 games every week, but it's fifty friggin' bucks. It's a fun thing.

Nathan, I'll be fine with you holding the money in escrow for the contest. The "luckiest" person will win it anyway. As I said, I'm glad to have the collar out of the way before the real thing begins. Let's have fun with it. I'm up about an NFFC league fee for the season to date, but I'm sure I'll give some of that back. Besides...my team is 2 and 4, so I need another reason to cruise these boards. :cool:
