It's curious, though, how your position on these boards has been that Owners who lost the # 2 TE in Fantasy Football are essentially incompetent if they can't adequately compensate for the loss of their 7th Round pick. Yet you feel compelled to list Rhodes and Cobbs as significant losses. What rounds were they drafted in, Mark?

When you lose someone, it hurts all around. Losing a 3rd rounder at the beginning of the year isn't worse than losing a 7th rounder (who was producing at a high level when he got hurt), because you are only SPECULATING what the 3rd rounder would do. Do you think people would be upset if Eddie Royal got hurt??? I own him a lot, and I wouldn't. He hasn't come close to what I expected of him.
Leon was worthless (I missed on him too, Glenn).
Laurent Robinson was looking good when he got hurt.
Anthony Gonzalez MAY have been good, but who is to say he wouldn't be much better than fellow third round dud, Eddie Royal??
Cobbs and Rhoades were simply roster fillers, and I think EVERYONE in a DC loses at least 2 players for lack of playing time/injury that they take late in a DC.
Good job to both of you, as you are both off to a great start!

i lost Gonzalez (my 3rd round pick here) in a lot of leagues this year. i lost him to injury. as you can see with garcon and collie, ANYONE starting in that offense would have good numbers.
people who drafted Royal "lost" due to their misread of the situation.
big difference.

Daniels owners who acquired depth at a scarce position (TE) are still in a good position.
Daniels owners who did NOT acquire depth at a scarce position (TE) are in a less than good position. There could be a couple reasons why owners didn't acquire a decent backup TE, too many injuries, not skilled enough, etc...

You draft a guy in the 3rd round, I draft one in the 7th round.
My guy plays MUCH better than a 7th round pick. Your guy gets hurt the first game.
My guy WITHOUT question was a VALUABLE pick. We will never know if yours was, because he could of been the next "Eddie Royal".
Keep in mind, that Collie is a supposed "film rat", who could of cut into A-Gon's production if A-Gon was indeed healthy.
Again, we DO NOT know what A-Gon WOULD of done, but we DO know what Owen Daniels (for example) was doing when he got hurt.
