WELL I THINK AT SOME POINT THE GAME WOULD HAVE TO BE PLAYED BEFORE THE SEASON ENDED AND IF YOU HAVE PLAYERS IN THAT GAME IT WOULD REFLECT IN THIS WEEK. HOPEFULLY THEY WOULD PLAY IT SOONER THAN LATER. BUT WHO KNOWS.

Tom, let me start by saying my thoughts and best wishes go out to all those affected by the fires in San Diego. A friend of mine in two private leagues was just allowed back into his home this morning and he is one of the lucky ones. He said it's virtually impossible that Qualcomm will be used for football this Sunday. Most likely they will play in Phoenix just like the last time. I'm curious what would happen if the game was canceled, though? What would happen to the week's scoring as far as the nffc is concerned regarding that game? We'll cross that bridge if we come to it. San Diego had a similar situation four years ago and they moved the game. My guess is the game would be moved and possibly moved to Monday as well.

Tom: what type of feelings would you have right now (week 8) if you recently dropped Chatman?

Do you see a player who could be dropped this week (maybe due to his team having a bye) being very valuable on the WW next week? Who did you dump Chatman for Mark?

I'm starting to think my dumping Selvin instead of Chatman might work out for me.
No idea bill.

As for your move, it's amazing when decisions made with little logical thought may in the end help you.
Is my "weekend warrior" prep better than your prep?
I agree, but as I wrote on the Selvin thread, the reason I kept Chatman (hastily I might add), is because R. Brown was more injury prone than T. Henry.

I just couldn't dump a WR at the time, but again, losing Selvin certainly hasn't cost me any sleep, and from things I have been hearing, it may not. :D

I disagree with RotoWorld's assessment of Watson vs. Rudi. Watson doesn't have a better all-around game. He's a better receiver but I don't think he matches up at all as a runner with a healthy Rudi Johnson.

But again, the problem is Rudi isn't healthy and he may not be healthy for the remainder of the season. We're now five weeks out since his injury. If he sits again this week it will be a major blow to his prospects for the remainder of the season.

Just for fun, this was my bench last week in my Main League either because of injuries or byes:

Rudi Johnson
Steve Smith
Deion Branch
Javon Walker
Kellen Winslow

Toss in Julius Jones who I sat because of the matchup and that's not a bad team right there on my bench. On top of that, Matt Schaub got hurt.

I love this game sometimes. :D
