Safest 1st round pick

Post by Gordon Gekko II » Tue Aug 25, 2009 10:07 am

AJ had what will probably be the best year of his career. everything went right...

1. he played in all 16 games last year (only the 2nd time in 4 years...which is 50%)

2. he caught 115 passes. undoubtedly will decrease

3. even though he caught 115 passes, he only had 8 td's (and 2 of them were in week 17), so he had 6 td's during the nffc season.

add to this that:
1. the guy isn't a spring chicken. he's 28 already.

2. rosenflum is gone. orslutsky is in

3. in his 6 year career, his BEST td total was 8!!!! hahaha!!! and people are drafting him over randy moss???

One question, when did the word safe pick ever come into play for any 1st round pick?

AJ's injury hx is just that- in the past. No concerns.
As for the what-if game either Fitz or AJ's starting qb getting hurt... Warner much more likely to get hurt than Schaub and for a longer stretch of games. 38-yr old concussion prone qb coming off hip sx. Schaub's previous injuries don't concern me.

I'll throw my hat into this MX. A.J. From TX, is the man with the special FX, and is the safest bet to get you near 100 points without a single yard or TD. And I'm sure if Shaub gets hurt, its nothing a slight RX couldn't cure.

P.X. I have too much time on my blackberry.

And so the Fitz RISE TO POWER begins...

Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt revealed Wednesday that Anquan Boldin suffered a hamstring "tweak" in Tuesday's late practice.
