Let's give it up for Alex Georgiou of Goodlettsville, Tennessee as he will be joining us for the first time at the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott on Saturday, Sept. 1st. We're glad to have you on board Alex and we wish you best of luck in the hunt for this year's $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize. Okay, here's an update: Alex has decided to draft in Tampa for the main event instead of Chicago as he's taking his wife to Florida to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary. He's excited to be drafting in the NFFC in Tampa and we're glad to have another signup in Florida. That leaves us with FOUR OPEN SPOTS LEFT FOR TAMPA!! We will now go beyond 42 teams there. Great job all.

Okay, we officially started our sixth league in Chicago again with the arrival of another original member of the NFFC family. Let's give it up for the return of Bob Tedesco of Des Plaines, Illinois as he will be joining us for a fourth straight season at the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott on Saturday, Sept. 1st. Bob and his girlfriend Kris Green will be competing in the main event as we're working on our 24th league overall for that event. Last year, Bob led Spearmint Rhino to a 5-8 record in Chicago League 4 as it placed 269th overall with 1,439.15 points during the regular season before placing 48th overall in the Consolation Round. Welcome back Bob and best of luck in the hunt for this year's $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

We have a record 114 teams in Las Vegas right now as we're working on a ninth league out there thanks to the return of another original member of the NFFC family. Let's give it up for the return of the brother tag team Oscar and Nestor Solamillos of Phoenix, Arizona as they've been with us for four years in baseball and football. Last year, they led their Flattops team to a 6-7 record in Las Vegas League 3, finishing 231st overall with 1,480.3 points. They will be at the Flamingo Las Vegas on Saturday, Sept. 1st and I'll gladly buy the first beers. Welcome back guys and best of luck in the hunt for this year's $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Scott Wieland of Madison, Wisconsin just grabbed one of the last spots in the $650 Draft Champions League as he's already signed up for the main event in Las Vegas and now will have twice as much fun that weekend at the Flamingo. We now have 10 teams between Las Vegas and Tampa and 12 teams counting two in New York. We're going to fill this up somehow and it should be a solid group of owners. Welcome aboard Scott and best of luck in the hunt for the $4,250 league prize.

We're glad to welcome another original member of the NFFC and NFBC families back for the 2007 event as Jeff Dobies of Richmond Hill, New York will be joining us for the main event at the New York Hilton on Saturday, Sept. 1st. Ruck Fules then finished 35th in the Championship Round with 495.33 points. Welcome back Jeff and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

We're making a strong move to fill up our eighth league for the main event in New York as we welcome another veteran NFFC member to the 2007 event. Let's give it up for the return of John Paolucci of White Plains, New York as he will be returning to the main event at the New York Hilton on Saturday, Sept. 1st. John has competed in the NFFC the last two years and last year he just missed a money finish as his Probable Cause team went 8-5 in Las Vegas League 8 and placed 82nd overall with 1,633.35 points. Welcome back John and best of luck in the hunt for this year's $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

We moved another step closer towards filling up our ninth league for the main event in Las Vegas as Ron Kloeden of Milwaukee, Wisconsin is now signed up for the NFFC Trifecta at the Flamingo Las Vegas. Ron had previously signed up for the $650 Draft Champions and $650 Auction Leagues and now he's added the main event as well. This is Ron's third year with the NFFC and we wish him best of luck in the hunt for this year's $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.
