Who's Coming To The 2007 NFFC And Where?
We now have 74 teams for the main event in Chicago as we welcome another new member to the growing NFFC family. Let's give it up for Pat Sorge of Schaumburg, Illinois as he will be joining us at the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott on Saturday, Sept. 1st. Pat was interested in joining the Ultimate League, but when that event was filled he grabbed a spot in the main event. Welcome aboard Pat and best of luck in the hunt for this year's $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

David Blake of Mokena, Illinois joined the NFFC last year and competed in the league that eventually produced our $100,000 grand champion. Unfortunately for David, it wasn't him, but he did lead his Sonic Death Monkeys team to an 8-5 record in Chicago League 1 while placing 164th overall with 1,554.15 points. David will be returning to the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott on Saturday, Sept. 1st for the main event as we now have 75 teams there. Welcome back David and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

All right, let's kick off this hump day by welcoming another returning member to the NFFC family. Roger Miliote went 10-3 in Las Vegas League 8 last year and is shifting to the Big Apple in 2007 with his sights set on the first-place prize and the event championship. Welcome back Roger and thanks for helping us fill our eighth full league in New York. Now who wants to start the ninth?

Other commitments kept Scott Silberfein from taking part in the NFFC last year but his schedule has cleared and he's jumping back into the fray. Scott starts our ninth league in New York with his signup today. Welcome back Scott and good luck in your quest for the $5,000 league prize and the $100,000 grand prize.
Now let's get 13 more in New York. WHO WANTS IN?

A divorce is an ugly thing - unless it results in two owners being in the NFFC instead of one. That's the case with Michael Newsome who has been Troy Young's co-owner in previous NFFC years. But this year he's striking out on his own in New York and gunning for the first-place prize. Welcome back Michael and good luck in your hunt for the $5,000 league prize and the $100,000 grand prize.

Louis Rivera picked up Fantasy Sports Magazine and loved all of the stuff I wrote. OK, I have no idea about that but I do know he loved the info we provided about the NFFC and decided to jump into the auction league in New York. That means we're one owner away from filling our second league there and closing out our signups for the auction. Welcome aboard Louis and good luck in your hunt for the $3,350 league prize.

We're very happy to be working with ESPN Radio in Tampa to promote the NFFC there not only in 2007 but for future years as well. As part of our partnership with them, they have agreed to give away a free entry for this year's event. The winner is Shawn Bryant from Largo. I just got off the phone with Shawn and he is totally pumped about joining the NFFC this year. We're definitely happy to have him so welcome aboard Shawn and good luck in the quest for the $5,000 league prize and the $100,000 grand prize.

We now have 76 owners for the main event in Chicago as we welcome back Ryan Houston of O'Fallon, Missouri back for a third straight season of action. Ryan finished second overall during the 2005 regular season and last year he led his Team Houston to a 7-6 record in Las Vegas League 4 with a 7-6 record, placing 64th overall with 1,661.65 points. Team Houston then finished 11th in the Consolation Round. Ryan works with head2head Fantasy Sports, FFChamps.com and several other fantasy sites and we're glad to have him on board for 2007. Welcome back Ryan and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

We're on a roll in New York right now and have 115 teams signed up for the main event thanks to the arrival of a familiar face to our high-stakes family. Corey Sarge of Pine Grove, Pennsylvania joined our NFBC event for the first time this year and he's having great success as his team is currently in the Top 25 overall. Corey has decided to join us for football as well this year and will be drafting at the New York Hilton on Saturday, Sept. 1st. Welcome aboard Corey and best of luck in the hunt for this year's $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.
