Okay, we received two more signups for the main event tonight in New York as we are now close to closing that one out. I'm at home right now, so I need to check this out as unfortunately we're having some computer problems tonight with the signup page. But I see that Derrick Stoudymire of New York City has grabbed one of the final spots. I believe Derrick was involved in the NFFC in 2004, but couldn't make the big dance last year. Welcome back Derrick and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

The tag team of Craig LaBruno and Eric Palotti of Jackson, New Jersey also grabbed a final spot at the New York Hilton on Saturday, Sept. 2nd. I believe that this is the first time Craig and Eric are joining us for the main event, so we welcome them aboard as last minute signups. Thanks for your trust and support guys and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Wow, what a day. I promise an update at 10 a.m. CST tomorrow, but it sure looks like Tom and I may be able to announce the picks at that time. Thanks again everyone for your patience.

It's time to announce our final participants in Las Vegas League 8. Leading off is Bundy Sanders of Marietta, Georgia as he returns for the second straight year. Last year Bundy led Csonka's Kiickers to a second place finish in Chicago League 3, earning a $2,500 check and making it to the NFFC Championship Round. Csonka's Kiickers finished 8-5 in Chicago League 3 and placed 50th overall with 1,661.7 points. Bundy is the official statistician at Georgia Tech and will hook up with us via teleconference as he's working that night's home opener. Welcome aboard Bundy and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.
