Who's Coming To The 2007 NFFC And Where?

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Sun Aug 26, 2007 2:17 am

We had one original signup in Tampa who had problems getting everything together and there was no time to wait, so we've replaced that signup with another NFFC veteran who will gladly take that spot. Henry Cantrell Jr. of Raleigh, North Carolina is an original NFBC and NFFC veteran who has competed every year with us and he's also doing the WCOFF event in Las Vegas the following weekend. Henry led his Hankerchiefs team to a 4-9 record in Las Vegas League 8 last year and finished with 1,402.5 points, but this year he's ready to roll out that all-reliever strategy and win it all!! :D Oops, that's baseball strategy! :D Welcome back Hank and best of luck in the hunt for this year's $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Officially, the 364th team to enter the NFFC was Jeff Black of Kensington, Maryland. Jeff will be drafting at the New York HIlton on Saturday, Sept. 1st as the 120th team in the Big Apple. Jeff is new to the NFFC, but he's not new to high-stakes fantasy football as he has competed with PayDay Sports in the past. Apparently, that $10K and $5K event didn't go through and Jeff just found out about that and was left without a high-stakes event this year. Matt Bayley quickly set him up with me and Jeff was able to grab the last spot in the main event. Welcome to the NFFC family Jeff and best of luck in the hunt for this year's $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Now, are you folks READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?!!! :D
