The RB talent drops off considerably this year so in a 14-team format it's tough to come away with a lot of RBs you like unless you ignore other positions. I'm gambling on Brown but he is good when healthy. Spiller should be a solid flex in the NFFC format. I'm feeling the Cooley Love in Washington so I was very happy to get him as my starter at TE.
Overall, I think this is a solid team. Would have liked a stronger RB2 but in a 14-team league you're going to have something you're not giddy about.

Greg,
Not a fan of the Matt Ryan pick, but I really like the rest. Sidney at the end of round 2 is very nice value, and getting Grant with the last pick of the 3rd is even BETTER value!
Gates and Maclin are also nice adds....nicely done!
I know this draft was a glorified mock and done in early July, but it has me SERIOUSLY reconsidering my KDS!
EDIT: You may want to do some random drug testing at Fanball....Tom taking Favre....IN THE 4TH!!!

I've said my plan this year is to make sure I get one of the Top 8 QBs on my board. Favre is the eighth and the other seven were gone. That plan may not work but I do not want to go the committee route at QB if I can avoid it. I want a plug-and-play starter and I believe Favre remains one. Maybe I could've waited a couple of rounds to get him but I'm not going to run the risk of missing out on someone I like and being forced to scramble later.
Did you hear what Jules said on the Sirius show the other night? If you like a player, draft him. Don't lock into ADP. Take the player you want regardless of what round it might be.
She's smart.

Even with the TC time he'll miss I still like him as a top 10-12 WR. He paired up well with Moore at the end of last season.

I can't believe that damn Tom took Favre so early!!
What a traitor!!
Yeah, I held off on QBs and made a tough choice. I just couldn't take Cutler there and then took Ryan over Kolb and McNabb. Who would you have taken there?
If I could have gotten Rivers and Grant at the 3-4 turn I would have been golden. Rivers went right before me and so I took Grant and then hummed and hawed for a long time. I didn't want to take a TE to start the fourth round, but I wasn't sure about Sims-Walker or Bowe there and no other top QBs were there. So I took Gates.
I'm picking Maclin every chance I get. I like him. Ricky Williams as my #3 RB isn't bad, too.
I'll have Tom drug tested in a bit. He looks like he needs to pee in a cup anyways right now.

Thursday Magazine Draft Is Full
I like Greg's team. He's gambling with his QBs but I think his RBs and WRs are deep and Gates is a stud. He drafted a very good team from the No. 1 spot - especially in a 14-team league.

[/QUOTE]I agree she is smart. Like you said, I thought you could of got him at least a round later.
