So many threads go to hell simply because so and so lights in to someone they dislike for simply posting a thread. The allies subsequently jump in and the thread is shot for no other reason than people's own personal issues with each other.

If we want this board alive and to have some really talented and personable gamers to post, than folks should try to have some tolerance for one another. To that point, I also think the moderators still need to not cater to the vocal minority as much as many of us feel occurs.

For Snake to apparently receive a vacation because some that were, in my opinion, even worse a few years back complaining about him seems a little extreme.
I am in full agreement with the bolded here. For all of the squabbles I've had with the aforementioned board member, I feel like we have worked it out and have an understanding. We did it out of the spotlight and I feel it is working. I would hope that others could do similar.

These boards will die without lively participation. These boards will die with constant piling on. I'd ask that people have short memories and thicker skin. If you don't like what is being discussed, then go to the next thread. Piling on only helps to kill the thread.

I hope one day to get back to discussing football and FF on these boards.
