a major turnoff to me is when people start threads bashing the NFFC saying their rule is shitt, when IN FACT the original poster didn't even know the rule to begin with. i am sticking up for the NFFC.

another turnoff to me is people trying to dummy down this event. should we institute a "points sharing program" amongst teams to encourage more parity and make it easier for the less skilled to compete?
Thank you for continuing to make my point. A rule suggestion that you don't agree with becomes..."dummying down the event." This is the very substance that isn't needed.

if someone brings a good idea to the table i would think the MB should embrace it.
Who is to say if it's a good idea or not? Most ideas are put to death before anyone can begin to discuss.

How about everyone just state their opinion, and leave it at that. The problem comes in when the opinion is shrouded by some form of ridicule.
a good idea should be able to stand up to criticism, shouldn't it. with 5 years of some really savvy particiapnts involved in this contest, maybe the rules are "almost perfect". there is only so much you can do to make a wheel more efficient.
Russ,

While I agree with that sometimes, it seems that NO ONE is blaming the thread starter's title....

"Dumb Rule about Free Agents"

Is this not degrading/ridiculing Greg and Tom/NFFC, or is it OK because he doesn't post as much?
Glenn,

Were you not told to stop changing other's threads/ideas????

I realize you are going to play the "it's all in fun" card, but people are tired of it.

You get banned for a week, you "lay low" for a few days, and then you are back to the same old antics.

This is Greg and Tom's problem now, but I am asking you NICELY.... PLEASE don't alter/change my threads or ideas.

THANK YOU! :D
Mark, there are over 300 participants in this event. There are probably 15 vocal posters. Why don't more people post? I'll guess that it's because they may see that if they aren't in agreement with the most vocal of the group, they will somehow become the target.

I may disagree with a particular suggestion, that doesn't give me the right to flame the person. Separate the person's acts from their thoughts and ideas.

I do that when it comes to you. I may not like the way you present yourself on the MB, but that didn't keep me from agreeing with you when it came to your suggesting All-play.

You say you want to learn, here is a golden opportunity.
