MARC IF THERE IS A TIE BETWEEM 2ND AND 3ERD PLACE THEY SHOULD SPLIT 2ND AND 3ERD PLACE MONEY. VERY SIMPLY THEY WERE THE TOP 3 IN THE LEAGUE. JOHN IS 100% CORRECT.TOP 3 OR 4 (WHATEVER YOU COME UP WITH) ARE THE PAYOUTS.

Thanks guys, that is exactly what I was referring to.

If it is a pay top 3 league then only the "top 3" get paid out. Possibly the top 4 if there was a two way tie for 1st and then another two way tie for 3rd, or even if three people tied for 2nd.

Strange but possible scenario could be:
1 = 100 pts.
1 = 100 pts.
3 = 80 pts.
3 = 80 pts.
3 = 80 pts.
3 = 80 pts.
3 = 80 pts.
7 = 50 pts.

In above example, 2 people tie for first, as a result that means that the next finish is for third place since the top two spots are already accounted for.

5 people then tied for third place. The next highest score then finishes in 7th place because 3-6 are already allotted for in the tie.

So, in short the first 2 finishers would split 1st and 2nd prize money and thenext 5 would split 3rd place prize money.

You guys make perfect sense when talking about top 3....is top 3, regardless of ties....just wanted to add, there's no way any of the top 3 end in a tie.

There will probably be $1,000's difference between 1st and 3rd. The mathematical odds of a tie are so remote, I wouldn't spend to much time worrying.

How many times will we hear 'That game was fixed'? If 'Insert players name' didn't fall down at the one yard line I would have won? On and on. Excuses.

fellows , patrick is right.the chances for a tie is way out there. very very simple. if first two are tied they split first and 2nd money. if ties for third they split 3erd money. lets make life ez for marc. he is doing alot of work for everyones enjoyment.

Okay, I've got most of the signups updated. If I'm up late tonight, I'll send out the invites.

I still have some signups to update over the next few days, but anyone that is signed up and paid will receive their invite by tonight/tomorrow.

I have one entry that I can't remember who the player is. Scott Stahlmann. He's paid, but I don't have an email address for him. If anyone knows him, please PM me his email address. I remember someone referring him to me, but my emails have been deleted since my internet service went whacky over the past week. I have everything and everyone else on the spreadsheet, but I'm looking for Scott Stahlmann's email...
