Why are you dodging the 50,10,10,10,10 vs 30,20,30,20,(20/30) discussion? I was countering your argument and now your moving to something new? Please tell me why I'm wrong.

From Dec 19th,

"The highly anticipated New England Patriots-Denver Broncos game between Tom Brady and Tim Tebow helped draw the second-best preliminary television rating for a regular-season NFL game on CBS since the network acquired the AFC package in 1998.

The New England Patriots' 41-23 win over the Denver Broncos led to a 19.5 overnight rating and 36 share for CBS's NFL coverage Sunday. Only the Nov. 4, 2007, games highlighted by a meeting of two undefeated teams, the Patriots and Colts, had a higher rating in the last 14 seasons on the network with a 22.5/39.

It was the highest overnight rating for any NFL game this season."

I think the rating for this playoff game will be off the charts. Biggest non Superbowl for sure. Cant wait.

You are actually claiming that if his 5th start was a 27 and you sat at home calculating his median ranking and it came in at 7th you would have included it in your post because your effort was to be thorough.

Look Bob, I don't mind a healthy debate, but I'm not sure why you're on a witch hunt? Do I have a bias that I set out to prove using numbers - probably! Who doesn't? But you thinking I sit home in some sinister fashion waiting until just the right numbers pop up is ridiculous.

And it's not like I just randomly jumped into this thread and posted only when his games favored my bias. I'm sure you're aware of that.

But at that particular time a couple months ago, all he had in was 5 games, so that's what I used. Please feel free to also go find my post a few weeks later wherein I admitted that his average PPG wasn't far behind Eli's and that I admitted that he could be considered an NFFC starter (just not for me). It might just refute your claims that I sit here waiting for his games to coincide with my opinion. Geez.

Please move on cuz I could care less if you think I'm full of it - really.

Hey folks, let's keep the conversation civil on all sides, ok? Tebow's fun to discuss because he's clearly the greatest thing in the NFL ever :D so let's keep the discussion lively, fun and civil. Thanks.

Yeah Tom, I decided I am out of the circle of pro/anti Tebow discussion. I am always up for a debate, if both sides are logical and civil. Tebow draws so many different and wildly opposite opinions that it is bound to end up in a fight and I personally dont need a fight. I get enough arguments from my ex wife. I am just enjoying the ride. Tebow goes beyond football and numbers, thus is why he has become a national phenomenon. I was with a group of about 14 people last night at a meeting. The subject of Tebow came up. 10 people in the room knew nothing about football and had never watched football, other than the Super Bowl, until this year. All because of Tebow. And the NFL could do a lot worse to be its face right now. People on these boards are about numbers and definitely have a point about the fact that Tebow's are middle of the road. Everyone agrees that Rodgers and Brady and Brees are amazing Qbs and the best at their game. There is no debate. But, to see this great game we love so much, get all of this attention, its good for a change for it to be a good story, about a humble kid, with many flaws, captivating a nation.

I will say this - I haven't looked forward to a non-Packers playoff game quite as much as I'm interested to see how Tebow-Brady Redux plays out. I think the Saints-49ers looms as a potentially great game too but in terms of potential drama, Tebow-Brady Redux could be mammoth if the Tebows find a way to hang in the game the second time around.

I think Brady has had enough of the Tebow hype. Do ratings still count if half of the viewers stop watching at halftime?

You have to give Tebow props for what he's done this season.

But I'm sorry...it would be nuts to take him as a QB1. You would be gambling your entire Fantasy season by doing it. Especially facing an opponent with Rodgers, Brees, or Brady...his potential for egg-laying is just too big. You can point to average points all you want, but he just doesn't look sustainable on a consistent basis as NFL defenses are able to adjust to him over time.

And here's the other thing: Including any garbage time points he puts up in the second half (which boosts his average) as justification for QB1 drafting is tissue-paper thin. Why? Because the Broncos wouldn't continue to start a QB all year whose production comes after the game is lost. I don't see that average holding up next year.

I am not a "Tebow-hater". As I've said, I would draft him as a QB2 because the man can put up numbers if the circumstances are right. The Steeler game is a good example of what he's capable of doing. But drafting him as my starter? Forget it.

And please...this is just my opinion. I've been wrong many times before. I crashed and burned this last Fantasy season. But that's just how I see it.
