Well, we successfully ran two online fantasy basketball drafts today on Allstar Stats.com and all seemed to go well. Let me hear some feedback from the 24 owners who participated. Can someone post the draft results for us? Any early surprises? Did you have any fun? Should we grow this big-time next year?

I'd love to grow the basketball event next year and I like the software we used for the online draft. Hmmmm, maybe a combination of live drafts and online drafts for next year would be fun. Stay in touch.

thanks to everyone who participated in the league drafts today. Have fun and good luck everyone.

All in all, it was a good draft. The biggest problems were:

(1) One owner was unable to load the software, and had to have all of his picks manually entered.

(2) Another owner couldn't figure out how to draft players from the player list. This was corrected by the 3rd round.

(3) Rules confusion over the center position. We were informed that we had to have two Center only players on our team through 16 rounds. One owner had no centers after Round 14 (he had three F/Cs), and was forced to take two (he chose Harrison and Foster from the Pacers). Not sure this was the intended rule, but it was enforced by Rich Pike of All Star Stats.

Thanks Glenn. Not a bad debut and those are solid picks from what I can see. But what do I know, I'm a baseball guy!!!

My cell phone is dead for now. If anyone has any questions about the league, e-mail me at [email protected] or leave a post here. I should be in the office tomorrow morning to correct any problems.

First FAAB will be next Sunday as our rosters are locked for this week. We'll need to set starting lineups for Week 1 by Monday. Good luck everyone.

Greg, while I have your attention, can you respond to point Number 3 from my above post? It seems that this owner was allowed to replace Foster with Fred Jones after the draft.

Let me get better versed on what happened and the position eligibility that Allstar had. Yes, I would allow Foster to be replaced by Jones in that situation as he already had two centers under our rules. He wasn't the only owner asking me about his 16th pick.

I wanted to monitor both drafts, but our company's firewall wouldn't allow it. I think Rich did a good job covering for me.

Kobe Bryant
Jason Kidd
Pau Gasol
Rasheed Wallace
Shareef Abdur-Rahim
Tony Parker
Zaza Pachulia
Jason Williams
Mike Dunleavy
Eddy Curry
Lorenzen Wright
Vlad Radmanovic
Bobby Jackson
Trevor Ariza
Steven Hunter
Martell Webster

How did you do?
