Rather than further diluting another thread, just wanted to say that you guys nailed just about every great guitarists -- except one. Somewhere on there HAS to be Reb Beach. You may not like Winger or their music, but man can that guy play. Without a doubt, Reb is one of the most underrated guitar players of the last 25 years.

Tiny Tim could jam. I can't believe he wasn't on anyone's list. Don Ho was another one who rocked but didn't make any lists.

Diesel....you forgot Andy Griffith...."you get a line and I'll get a pole" is on his electric eel album.

How about John Belushi in Animal House when he took a guitar and smashed it into pieces when it wasn't the cool thing to do, YET.

I just remembered a great song that was guitar only. The name of the song was c-c-c-crambone...(someone broke my geetar string)
