Just wondering what Z and everyone else thought of the play and outcome of the WSOP (stop reading if you don't want to know who won!) I know a lot of people say Moon was a donk, but he played great heads up (I was there) and many times when he got a lot of chips in, he had chips to spare (talking about the final 9 now). Cada's come back from less than 2 million was amazing, I think he played well, but got really lucky and was very aggressive with some less than impressive hand. Lastly, Ivey. I know he's the best, but I can't figure out why people thought he was going to win with so few chips. He couldn't even call the pocket J's, which I'm sure he's kicking himself for now. Anyone else with their take on the final table?

Amazing how Cada was able to come back with only 1% of the chips just 2 million after he lost that big hand. To come back from that is truly amazing. I was hoping Phil would take it down but folding the JJ to the 77 was the key hand for him. He had I think 16 mill put in a raise to 1.25 mill and then the other guy came over the top to 4 mill. Phil laying down that hand was the key point in the game for him. He could have picked up a pot of about 5-6 mill if he came back over the top and if he just called and a low flop came he could have doubled up to over 30 million and been the favorite from there on out. Moon seemed to get too reckless from what I seen on TV but of course I didn't get to see all the hands. The thing is he seemed like a really tight players then when he got his 3 month break it seemed like someone got in his ear and told him hey your the big stack you have to be really agrresive and it just didn't seem to fit his playing style and he lost tons of chips that way bluffing. 44 mill pot and he had to call 6 mill and he tells his wife he had QQ ? Ya right no one in the world believes you dump QQ on that flop with 6 mill to call with 44 mill in. That would be the worst lay down of all time. I enjoyed it and was happy to see Phil make it so far. Some day I hope to play in the WSOP I just keep waiting to win that free entry!

Hey Henry, glad to see at least one other poker fan. I think you've got a perfect read on Moon. He seemed to switch up his game at the final table. My guess is he wanted to throw around the fact that he was the big stack. He did play amazing heads up though, when he lost the hand where Cada made a great call for his tourney life..that was the end. He was content to just get his chips in and double up at that point. Maybe I'll see you at the final table next year

Come on guys, the Ace 4 and the King Queen hands by Moon have to be 2 of the worst plays in the history of the WSOP.

I agree boutrous. I really think Moon was trying to "change it up"- but yes, those plays were very bad.
