NFL Viewing Party At The Bellagio Las Vegas

The NFL threw us all a curveball this year when they changed the date of the NFL Opener to Wednesday, Sept. 5th to avoid President Obama's acceptance speech the next night at the Democratic National Convention. The Dallas Cowboys now open at the New York Giants on that date at 7:30 pm ET.

For a lot of NFFC owners coming to Las Vegas for the Second Weekend of drafts, that throws their plans off a bit. Usually folks would arrive in time to watch Thursday's NFL Opener and then prepare for two solid days of drafts. Now we have the NFL Opener a day earlier, on Wednesday night.

Actually, this works out well for all of our serious drafters. This gives us an extra day of drafts as we've now added more events on Thursday to go with everything we already planned on Friday and Saturday. Check out the Las Vegas Second Weekend Schedule of Events for everything we have:

I have space at the Bellagio for a Wednesday Night NFL Viewing Party for NFFC members. We can get a ballroom with a pulldown projector screen along with food and beverage from 3 pm to the conclusion of the game. Heck, we can even host some Draft Champions League drafts after the game if anyone is interested. It would be the exact same setup we had in March for our NCAA Viewing Party, for those folks who were there. That set-up was very nice. Cost would be $100 per person, which would cover the projector screen, room, food and drinks during the game. I do not want to make this part of an add-on to the Events Fees because not everyone will be around for this party, so just those who want to attend will pay for what we have. Sound good?

We'll make this happen either in the ballroom downstairs or in a penthouse suite, but either way we'll definitely kick off the weekend with the NFL Opener and a Viewing Party at the Bellagio. Those of you who play poker can organize a poker tournament before, during or after the game. I'll serve the drinks in the meantime!! Come one, come all!!!
