Last year when we introduced our NFFC '60s it allowed folks to get together on one set night a week and draft in a Draft Champions format for an affordable price. It was kind of like bowling night in the NFFC. We no longer have the NFFC '60s because we are going head-first with our DC National Championship and that $10,000 grand prize, but we can still set up one day a week for these DCs at an affordable price ($150), while completing the draft in one night.

What I'd like to do is see if we can get that rolling again this year. Not everyone likes the Slow Draft format and even for those who do like that format getting together on a set night and completing the 30-round draft in one night is more preferable. So let's try to get this rolling and if it catches on we'll add a few more. These leagues will be part of the overall prize pool; the only difference is the shorter amount of time per pick. But it's still 14 teams, 30 rounds, 3RR, in a DC format.

I know we filled up some Friday night DCs and some Sunday DCs last year. Let's start with the first Friday night in June and see if we can fill it up. If you'd rather have a Sunday night or would like me to add a Sunday night for this in early June, we can do it. But don't sign up online just yet; just post your intentions here or email me directly at [email protected]. Let's get to 14 owners first and then get everyone officially signed up once we know we have a full league. We'll go with 75 seconds per pick and I'm sure you'll be done with these in less than 3 hours. Should be fun.

I heard from a few owners already who said that Sunday nights in June are tough because they are still occupied with their NFBC FAAB bids that night. As a result, I've already added a signup list for the first Friday night in June and we'll see if we can get that filled instead or with a Sunday night. Whatever works best for you folks is good for me. Bill Strickler is first on the list for this Friday night DC, so now just 13 SPOTS LEFT!! Thanks for the feedback all and I agree that Friday nights might work best early on due to so many people also doing baseball with us.

Can you start a tentative list for THIS Sunday, May 27th? It's a 3 day weekend and with no work on Monday, it would be a perfect night for a live DC. If you start that list, feel free to add me.
