Top 90 Insurable Players From Fantasy Sports Insurance

If you have purchased an NFFC Primetime, NFFC Classic, NFFC Auction Championship or NFFC Draft Champions Live team and have paid via cash, check or money order, you are eligible to receive FREE insurance on one player from each of those teams from the NFFC and Fantasy Sports Insurance. Pay by cash, check or money order for any of those teams and you get to put insurance on one of the Top 100 players on FSI's designated list.

Here's how it will work:

You draft your team and then after the draft and before Sunday's first game on Sept. 9th, you email me at [email protected] the player you want insurance on. If that player misses 9 or more games to injury this season you get reimbursed 20 percent of your paid entry fee. It's as simple as that.

Fantasy Sports Insurance

A Fantasy Sports Insurance policy for one player is available FREE to each team owner who pays by check/cash/money order for the NFFC Classic, the NFFC Primetime, the NFFC Draft Champions Live or the NFFC Auction League provided that your payment is received by the due date. This insurance policy is courtesy of the NFFC and FantasySportsInsurance.com.

Here's how Fantasy Sports Insurance (FSI) works:

Designate one player who is on your team and on the Top 100 list provided by FantasySportsInsurance.com for your insurance policy. If that player misses at least 9 full games on the disabled list due to an injury in 2012, you will receive payment from FantasySportsInsurance.com for:
League Insurance Amount
NFFC Classic $300
NFBC Primetime $300
NFBC Auction Championship & Draft Champions $170

Last year when this offer was in place for the NFFC, team owners were able to cash in their insurance policies for the following players:

* Jamaal Charles
* Darren McFadden
* Jahvid Best
* Andre Johnson

After you have selected the player who you want to insure, FSI will send out a Certificate of Insurance with details of the insurance policy and the associated coverage. Claims will be paid within 30 days of the end of the NFL regular season.

NFBC team owners also will have the opportunity to purchase additional insurance for their teams' players through FantasySportsInsurance.com if they draft more than just one injury-riddled player. For those owners, there is a policy for two players who miss a total of 9 games to injury and even a policy for three players who spend a total of 115 days on the DL.

Okay, I'm finally back from Las Vegas and ready to wrap up a few items with the NFFC. One of them involves the insurance of players. If you paid by check, cash or money order and didn't send me a list of your insurance players, you can still do that this week. Obviously you can't do it for someone like Fred Jackson since he got hurt on Sunday, but we'll still let you give us a Top 100 player from the list who made it through Sunday clean. I have a lot of work to compile the list from the emails I got over the weekend, so there's time to submit yours yet if you forgot.

Just email me your insurable players at [email protected]. I'll submit this new list at the end of the week.

Tom will add this to our newsletter this week so that everyone knows how this works. We want everyone who paid via cash to get in on this special program. It saves us money by doing it this way and it could earn you money this way, even though that's not the way you want to win back some money. So thanks for paying this way.

I'll look at the list again to see if we had everyone who was eligible on it. Maybe the list is complete as is or maybe I just left some off. I'm on it either way.
