Anyone Up For A Poker Tournament?

For those NFFC members who will be drafting in Las Vegas on Sept. 3-4, there is a possibility of an organized poker tournament exclusively for fantasy football players. I'm not organizing it, but I have been approached by two people who would like to see if there is interest from our members. I know that a private poker tournament was held after our NFBC draft in March, so I'll relay the information and leave it up to all of our members to decide if they're interested or not. It's your call and I'll help if I can.
Perry Van Hook, an NFBC member and the person who is organizing the WCOFF's poker tournament, has said that he may have interest in helping out on Sept. 4th if there's interest. That's one possibility and I'll let Perry post the details when he has time, but he would organize it at one of the casinos with that casino running the event.
The second option was given to me today by James Messick, who is organizing a competing event. He is hosting a poker tournament at Binion's on Saturday night, Sept. 4th exclusively for his group and would be willing to include NFFC members. It would be a tournament full of just fantasy football players. Again, details to come, but the comraderie of competing events might be fun.
Again, if anyone has interest in extending the weekend of fun in Las Vegas, just let me know here and I'll contact the principals. Thanks and keep the signups coming.
