START-SIT

Post by DOOMSDAY » Fri Sep 07, 2012 3:37 pm

Any tough START-SIT decisions out there to open the season?

Week-1 is a tough time to try and roll the dice hoping for a home run, but maybe Wednesday night's performances have some owners doing some fine-tuning on their starting rosters.

My team wasn't affected by the first game as all I had going was my COWBOYS Defense, but am double-thinking my Flex.

I am locking Ingram in as my RB2 and Heyward-Bey as my WR3.

Rolling with Reggie Bush as my Flex for now, mainly because I drafted him at 5.1 (before taking Ingram at 7.1), and he appears to be the only true option for the Dolphins - both on the ground and through the air. Been contemplating playing Malcom Floyd here instead, although I already have Rivers going as my QB and may want to take a wait and see approach as how the ball gets distributed before giving him the nod.

Bench warmers at RB until they prove themselves worthy are Shonne Greene and Mendenhall and fliers at WR depth are Henderson (could start big against WAS but can't pull the trigger over the other 2 just yet - plus already have Colston going, along with Ingram) and Santana.

Any thoughts or double-thinkers of your own?

i think you should play floyd ahead of ingram or heyward bey.his history vs oakland is stout plus he was rivers top target in the preseason when they were on the field together and at the end of the year last year. what are your thoughts about the cowboys def 7 pts or ne def vs tenn?

Thanks for the feedback. I'm afraid to sit Ingram and then see him get two 1-yard TD runs. But do agree with your comments on Floyd.

I would take a shot with NE against the Titans. How much worse than 7 points can they get - maybe 5? But always have the upside of a D/ST TD. I always go in hoping to get close to 10 from D and K, so think the upside is greater than the risk of scoring less than 7.

Good Luck!

really don't think it's that clear cut.

Certainly can't count on a Greene TD (only 6 last year, 3 in one game) and Tebow looming around the red zone. So I'm expecting 70 yards rushing and a couple of catches. Circa 12 points. I'm probably higher on Titus Young than most this year.
