Jets shopping Sanchez?
I wonder if they'll take BLeftwich and CBatch for him. It's too early for Pitt to be drafting a prospect, so I'd love to see him as BBen's backup. He'd be worth half his salary in that situation.

The latest is that the Jets are offering Sanchez for two used towels and a bag of potato chips.

Re: Jets shopping Sanchez?
I feel a good move would be to trade with Arizona (after they determine their coaching/front office moves). Truth is, we do not know what Sanchez is. Success in the NFL, especially at QB is hugely related to the playing circumstance he QB is in. The coaching, the offensive system, game planning, talent around him, cohesion, team organization and discipline. These variables are part of why guys like Peyton, Brady, Montana were so successful. I am not saying Sanchez is anything like any of these guys.
What I am saying is he has been mired in a horrible situation, struck with horrible coaching on a team with no talent, a poor ( and changing) system, no organizational discipline, etc. An example of this is what Eli Manning went through. He had early struggled. I remember how some of his receivers would not join him during offseason to practice. I remember how a punk Jeremy Shockey was. Once the got organizational discipline, stability in the offense and system, and some dedicated talented players, his productivity rose.
Get Sanchez in a better setting, with better coaching, good game planning, good offensive concepts and approach and you might be surprised by what he can do. He may still stink, but until he is in that environment, we will not know.

I would not draft Larry Fitz if Sanchez were the QB. Com'on Man.... Give Fitz a real QB, not a 4 year blunder like Sanchez. I don't think his head is in the game. Might not ever be.
